Michael Jackson didn't go to jail, but it effectively ended his career. Cosby got destroyed. R Kelly eventually ended up in jail.

Sentenced 5 months for an average 3 year sentence. Sentenced to 4 years only served 19 months. Expected to serve 9 of an 11 year sentence that was nearly two years shorter of a sentence than her male peer.

The only time I've served on a jury, there were two morons. I suspect most jurys have carefully selected morons.
It was also after the aquital of a person who straight up murdered a black teenager (which caused riots) and a cop who was factually racist. Also the DA tried to move the trial to wildly conservative venue so they could guarantee a conviction.

Like if I was an uber driver and a prostitute called me over for a ride, I would be in it for 10 years if she was going to a place to have sex with a guy? Like WTF?!!! When did that shit happen?? Do these criminals get to be president at least? Do it twice and that's pretty much the rest of your useful life. Think about it, you're affecting no one, you might not even be aware. The girl may just be a total skank doing free community service bothering no one....and you get 10 years for that? For a ride? They should work a little harder and get the other more aggravating charges to stick.
Can someone correct me if I’m wrong here? I recall some reporting saying that the charges being brought against him placed notoriously difficult burdens on the prosecution. I also recall this being brought up when his defense rested after something like 15-minutes. Given that, is this verdict really such a shock? For my part, I think this is a pretty clear instance of “smoke meaning fire,” but the burden of proof can be tough.
I refuse to click through from any headline, anywhere, that references this guy using his idiotic nickname. That results in me not knowing anything about him, and deprives "news" platforms of a billionth of a cent of ad revenue, both of which I think are for the best.
