Why not include demands (Iran) that are personally humiliating for Trump? (self.shittyasklemmy)

Like, I don't see why they need to make any concessions. They already state the US must pay for damages.

Why don't they also include that Trump must go on national TV and say something like, "I have been a very bad little boy and I make poopoos in my daipies."

It costs zero dollars, can be done the same day, etc. no bodily harm. It's only severely humiliating. Given the demands thus far, this would be pragmatically the easiest to comply with. So why not? Has any other country done this kind of thing in the past?

I was gonna say that they're trying to look reasonable on the international stage at the same time the whole media apparatus tries to portray them negatively, while this kind of trolling might feel justified it doesn't accomplish anything and it only gives western media what they want.

It actually works in reverse, you need to say "oh I'm so sorry that you attacked me. I promise I'll try not to make you attack me again."

Also in the newly created Office of the Board of the Committee of the Members of the Nations of Trump Peace™©® Israel and the US have declared that embarrassing a war criminal is a war crime so you're not allowed to do it, only they can.

To be clear, Iran is not the good guy. Not by any stretch. No matter how much we may revel in dipshit Don feeling some modicum of accountability (finally). Even so, blasting a school and civilians at random isn’t ok, especially at the behest of a country that went from being the victims of fascism to becoming perpetrators of that fascism. Head spin mind fuck that it is.

Personal accountability for dipshit Donald would be most welcome.

I'm glad someone else said it. In other communities when I've dared suggested that neither side is good and both are shit I've been bombarded with shit.
