Hey I’m a PTSD shut in who’s been doing her best to heal and be social and do all the stuff right but today sucks and I’m just having a hard time. I live talking about almost anything and commiserating is good too. How’s your Monday been?

Good luck doggie, hope everything goes well!

Sorry you're having a bad day. They come around sometimes but I think it's always best to try and live for the good days.

It's a holiday here in the US, Memorial Day.

I had a cyst/abscess drained this morning, and I'm thankful for the physician who was working today, and able to see me on short notice.

Otherwise, I'm grocery shopping.

Thanks, it's just a flesh wound, so I'm fine.

I came in to work today because my boss said he would be working but it turns out that if anyone else was working, they were working from home. It's really lonely here and I had been looking forward to at least seeing co-workers. I have friends and family I can talk to on the phone but some part of my brain that's making me feel bad isn't satisfied by anything that isn't face to face.

For that reason, I've been thinking about getting a dog again. It would be rather expensive because I travel relatively frequently so I would have to pay for someone to take care of it, but the main problem is actually just that on some level I don't want to ever replace my old dog.

I have had many, many cats. Each one holds a piece of my heart.

I don't think of adopting another one as replacing one I just lost.

I'm offering a home, love, and care to another animal to honor all those that came before.

Thats a cute doggie, since you haven't told us their name I'm going to have to a assume it's DogDog. DogDog is a cute dog, pet DogDog for me, will you? And good luck on your surgery, DogDog.

Cute doggo, I hope the surgery goes well. One of my cats donut had surgery a few months back and had to wear a cone of shame, but she's doing better now.

I worked and it was fine.
