Welcome to the discussion of US Politics!

Rules:

  1. Post only links to articles, Title must fairly describe link contents. If your title differs from the site’s, it should only be to add context or be more descriptive. Do not post entire articles in the body or in the comments.

Links must be to the original source, not an aggregator like Google Amp, MSN, or Yahoo.

Example:

  1. Articles must be relevant to politics. Links must be to quality and original content. Articles should be worth reading. Clickbait, stub articles, and rehosted or stolen content are not allowed. Check your source for Reliability and Bias here.
  2. Be civil, No violations of TOS. It’s OK to say the subject of an article is behaving like a (pejorative, pejorative). It’s NOT OK to say another USER is (pejorative). Strong language is fine, just not directed at other members. Engage in good-faith and with respect! This includes accusing another user of being a bot or paid actor. Trolling is uncivil and is grounds for removal and/or a community ban.
  3. No memes, trolling, or low-effort comments. Reposts, misinformation, off-topic, trolling, or offensive. Similarly, if you see posts along these lines, do not engage. Report them, block them, and live a happier life than they do. We see too many slapfights that boil down to "Mom! He's bugging me!" and "I'm not touching you!" Going forward, slapfights will result in removed comments and temp bans to cool off.
  4. Vote based on comment quality, not agreement. This community aims to foster discussion; please reward people for putting effort into articulating their viewpoint, even if you disagree with it.
  5. No hate speech, slurs, celebrating death, advocating violence, or abusive language. This will result in a ban. Usernames containing racist, or inappropriate slurs will be banned without warning

We ask that the users report any comment or post that violate the rules, to use critical thinking when reading, posting or commenting. Users that post off-topic spam, advocate violence, have multiple comments or posts removed, weaponize reports or violate the code of conduct will be banned.

All posts and comments will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis. This means that some content that violates the rules may be allowed, while other content that does not violate the rules may be removed. The moderators retain the right to remove any content and ban users.

That's all the rules!

Yes, you can definitely trust the judgement and historical wisdom of a Jewish white supremacist.

[–] Captain_Patchy@lemmy.world 5 points 3 weeks ago (1 children)

Sorry, when did the White Supremacists decide that Jews were white and when did they start accepting his directions?

[–] phutatorius@lemmy.zip 1 points 3 weeks ago

Only until they're done murdering some other scapegoat groups first. Then it'll be Fourth Reich time.

[–] wirebeads@lemmy.ca 35 points 3 weeks ago (1 children)

My fists would love nothing more than to have 2 minutes with that thing he refers to as a face.

[–] Sunflier@lemmy.world 2 points 3 weeks ago* (last edited 3 weeks ago) (1 children)

To clean his glasses for him? Or, to shove them up his ass?

[–] edgarde@piefed.social 7 points 3 weeks ago

Don't threaten Miller with a good time.

[–] ryper@lemmy.ca 24 points 3 weeks ago (2 children)

Is smiting a valid punishment for blasphemy? If "god" would smite some of these assholes I might just become a believer.

[–] phutatorius@lemmy.zip 1 points 3 weeks ago

Yeah, it'd be a nice day if that knobhead got smat... uhh, smitten?

[–] Sunflier@lemmy.world 1 points 3 weeks ago

No smiting. Just stoning.

[–] UnderpantsWeevil@lemmy.world 15 points 3 weeks ago (1 children)

Steven Miller was sent by God in the same way God sent the locust plague and the rain of frogs.

[–] erusuoyera@sh.itjust.works 6 points 3 weeks ago (1 children)

Steven Miller is what happens when you bury a dildo in the pet cemetery.

[–] NekoKoneko@lemmy.world 2 points 3 weeks ago

This is perfect for a needlepoint kitchen hanging.

[–] mister_flibble@sh.itjust.works 14 points 3 weeks ago

In a biblical plague sort of way, perhaps

[–] Taleya@aussie.zone 12 points 3 weeks ago

Like, as a punishment?

[–] DMCMNFIBFFF@lemmy.world 6 points 3 weeks ago (1 children)

It's quite possible to review the events of the last decade—indeed perhaps the last 3 decades—and conclude that there are other explanations for Trump winning with a plurality (not majority) of the popular vote.

[–] UnderpantsWeevil@lemmy.world 7 points 3 weeks ago

Our nation was cooked the day the SCOTUS ruled on Bush v Gore

[–] Treczoks@lemmy.world 6 points 3 weeks ago

He actually might be sent by god, actually.

As a punishment or test, like the Flood in Noahs time, like the locusts in Egypt, like the demon sent to Lot.

[–] mechoman444@lemmy.world 5 points 3 weeks ago (2 children)

Wait goon as in low tier henchmen?

Or goon as in like... Well you know...

[–] SpikesOtherDog@ani.social 1 points 3 weeks ago

I was going to use the the porque no los dos meme, but if has a restraining order against Trump gooners.

[–] arrow74@lemmy.zip 1 points 3 weeks ago

I feel like the slang will kill the original meaning, but in this case it is both

[–] Stormy@thelemmy.club 5 points 3 weeks ago

Well, duh. They've been working to make that story for their holy war for the last decade. I thought we already knew this. They said he was basically the anticrist trying to set off Armageddon just a few months ago when they started attacking iran.

[–] Lushed_Lungfish@lemmy.ca 5 points 3 weeks ago* (last edited 3 weeks ago)

As were locusts and frogs.

[–] Jankatarch@lemmy.world 4 points 3 weeks ago* (last edited 3 weeks ago)

At what point does it go from "winking at a monarchy" to "claiming the mandate of heaven."

[–] LavaPlanet@sh.itjust.works 4 points 3 weeks ago

Can they make up their minds, believe in God, but don't listen to the pope. Riiiiiiiight. I would assume those events to be the wrath of God, if I were inclined to believe in such things.

[–] Wataba@sh.itjust.works 3 points 3 weeks ago

To tear down America for being a vile cesspit that is spearheading the death of the planet?

Sure.

[–] Spacehooks@reddthat.com 3 points 3 weeks ago

Yup Tzeentch really enjoys all the taco days

[–] Assassassin@lemmy.dbzer0.com 3 points 3 weeks ago

Off topic, but I just want to bring up that Stephen Miller is married. To all you incels out there: that motherfucker found someone willing to tolerate him, you have no excuse.

[–] phutatorius@lemmy.zip 3 points 3 weeks ago (1 children)

I'm frankly surprised that Trump hasn't been sent plagues of blood, frogs, boils, etc.

[–] Spacehooks@reddthat.com 1 points 3 weeks ago* (last edited 3 weeks ago)

He wouldn't learn a thing.

[–] osanna@lemmy.vg 3 points 3 weeks ago* (last edited 3 weeks ago)

So he's gonna be the next pope? I don't believe in such things, but holy shit, if trump was sent by god, what did humanity do so wrong that we had to be punished with dumpy?

[–] kreskin@lemmy.world 2 points 2 weeks ago* (last edited 2 weeks ago) (1 children)

Which god are we talking about here? Is there a god of incels, morons and nazis?

[–] Sunflier@lemmy.world 1 points 2 weeks ago

All mentioned.

[–] resipsaloquitur@lemmy.cafe 0 points 3 weeks ago (1 children)

God did send Lucifer. To hell.

[–] phutatorius@lemmy.zip 4 points 3 weeks ago

In the Book of Job, they're hanging out together and coming up with new ways to entertain themselves by fucking with the ant farm.
