Yeah, I was agreeing that sentiment and pointing out that dude is just assuming a more complicated conspiracy for no reason

I guess, but with that logic you could just as easily be the bad actor sowing doubt.

Begging for attention.... To an issue being caused by another user?

Oh good, more Nazi shit.

Honestly it seems that they are exposing a pretty big vulnerability in the current lemmy setup. What's to stop someone from effectively DDOSing an instance by just posting a shitload of trash to a bunch of communities via a few dozen bot accounts? If this one guy can cause this much of an issue, I'd hate to see what would happen if some dipshit with a computer science background decided to take out a grudge. Not that that's happened at all recently.

Considering that the FAA just cleared Boeing to self certify again.... No. No lessons have been learned, and the FAA is willing to let hundreds more people die to keep Boeing from facing the reckoning that they so rightfully deserve.

You should just make your own community called "onlystupidquestions"

This is objectively awful and will hurt and kill so many undeserving people. The most frustrating part of it is that so many of the 60+ demographic voted for this. They wanted to kick "lazy people" off the "welfare state", and forgot that they need that same welfare state for their medical needs (Medicare) and retirement income (social security).

It's so sad that so many people have to suffer because such a large portion of the US believes that helping other people is too risky because they might help someone that they don't think needs it.

This, but unironically. I've met and worked under a bunch of different executives. The people that do the actual work are at least two levels of management below them and make a normal wage. Execs are useless at best and a liability at worst. There's a reason that companies work just fine without executive roles filled, but fail immediately when there is a labor shortage.

Pay the workers the difference and just use a fucking ouija board if there's a conflict of leadership.

When using "Hide Read", the app behaves normally for a couple of pages, then abruptly pops this screen and removes all navigation and UI from the app until it's restarted.

He's got the spirit, though.

Was bored on Wednesday night so I tried my hand at doing a project w/o measuring or any semblance of a plan. Please note that the different spacing between the shelves is intentional to be able to fit my glasses properly.
