Because gas prices are the yardstick, apparently? Who cares about the wholesale destruction of the Constitution? Who cares about the war crimes? Who cares about the racist and illegal imprisonment and deportation of legal residents? Just whatever you do, don't jack up gas prices. JFC
Most people care about what affects them directly and nothing more.
The irony is that it is affecting them directly and most of them still don't get it.

Seeing the ugly underbelly of America has been hard. This many people are this awful inside? Really?
It is expected but still sad that only some can admit not being at war with Iran nor closing the strait of Hormuz, IN HINDSIGHT, would have led to cheaper fuel.
Even sadder is that so many of those people care more about gas prices going up than the illegality of the war itself and its civilian casualties in Iran.
Republicans do not care about human lives. They barely care about American lives.
They don't care about any loves other than their own. They lack empathy. Everyone other than them is expendable.
That's not fair, they also care about lives they aren't alive yet. Once they're born they can get fucked though.
I don't think people realize the humanitarian crisis that's going to occur if the desalination plant attacks spiral any further. It'll consume not just Iran but the entire region.

For real, the removal of federal incentives caused a huge wave of EV cancellations, which will inevitably increase demand for oil, which will increase prices.
But as always the bipartisan support for higher oil prices comes from the lack of regulation around them. Big Oil is taking this opportunity to drive up prices artificially and recording record profits (again). You would think with the importance of oil on our entire economy that someone would reign them in but alas their pockets are too deep.

Am I reading this correctly? 69% of Trump voters think gas would have been the same or worse with Harris?
I seriously doubt that any of these people thought for one moment about what they said, but this is actually a complicated issue. Would Iran have closed the Strait of Hormuz if only Israel had attacked them? My guess is that they wouldn't, but it's just a guess.
It could very well be that Israel wouldn’t have attacked Iran in the first place if Trump wasn’t president.

Tarrifs, corruption, ICE funding, concentration camps, protest response, extra assassination attempts, remodeling the white house every six months, the ballroom, setting up adversarial trade relations with most of the world, lawsuits (sometimes against himself in order to extract money from the government), Trump has spent more than any other president and has greatly increased the debt ceiling.
