Women only trans inclusive This is an inclusive community for all things women. Whether you're here for make up tips, feminism or just friendly chit chat, we've got you covered.

Rules…

  1. Women only… trans women are women, and transphobic or gender critical talk isn’t allowed. Anyone under the trans umbrella (e.g. non-binary, bigender, agender) is free to decide whether a women's community is a good fit for them.
  2. Don’t be a dick. No personal attacks, no aggression, play nice.
  3. Don’t hate on groups, hatefilled talk about groups is not allowed. Ever.
  4. No governmental politics, so no talk of Trump actions etc. We recommend Feminism@beehaw.org for that, but here is an escape from it.
  5. New accounts or users with few comments may have their posts removed to prevent spam and bad-faith participation.

I enjoy a challenge, the chance to try out a strategy, to collaborate and work things out. But if things get super competitive I loose interest

I don't care if I lose but I really enjoy competing with others. I can never find people who aren't sore losers/winners though.

I'm amazingly uncompetitive, lol

Someone's gotta come in last place, and if I had fun I'm happy to do so :-) Hyper-competitive people have sucked the joy out of many pastimes for me.

Not even remotely!

Not overly competitive, but I have high standards. I don't really care what other people are out there doing, but I think I should be doing a freakishly great job at whatever it is I'm doing.

I’m a little competitive, just over silly things like mini golf though

Depends on the thing. Growing up it was standard in my house to lie and cheat our way through boardgames, you only lost if you got caught.

Our yearly Christmas settlers of catan game is downright cutthroat.

I prefer board games where the players all work together to achieve an objective. When playing games where only one player can win, I don't care if I win or lose, as long as I had fun. That sounds cliche, but what I mean is: did I have a game where I felt like I had lots of good options to work with and got to use my resources well? Fun, even if I lost. Did I have a game where I felt stymied at every turn even if I ended up with the most points? Not fun.

I'm glad I proofread before posting because I had a typo "I don't care if I win or lose, as long as I had gun" which would have changed my intention, but been funny.

I am not competitive at all! Even when I played violin, I always preferred playing in quartets and groups. I hated competing for first violin spots.

Lady wtf lol I played violin too. I swear we are long lost twins 🤣 Did you play field hockey as well?

I was the same, I was always second violin and very happy about that. I hated the snobbishness of the first chairs, it was very much not for me.

Hahahaha that's wild! I wasn't very fond of physical activities, so I think it's safe to say we weren't separated at birth. But damn it's getting close!!

lol ok good, I’d hate to have a long lost twin. Just shows cool people are all around us 😁

I am incredibly competitive, and funny enough I get it from my mom. I remember really having to learn how to control myself growing up, crying at mini golf because I'm 8 and sucked lol.

The rest of our family has banned us from competing against each other after she spiked the Wii remote into the ground from playing Mario Kart against me.

We try and do more cooperative activities now a days lol.

I wouldnt say I am competitive but I do enjoy competing still, especially team based stuff. But i can also get frustrated if im continually failing something, but thats more about me and dragging someone else down than beating an opponent

The only time I get remotely competitive is when playing EDH. Even then, I don’t necessarily have to win to have fun, I’m ok with 2nd place, but I’ll fight to get there. Other than that, I’m not really competitive at all.
