How can 1/3 of Americans think this child rapist is doing a good job?

Hurting brown people and "communists" is more important than anything else to that 1/3.
btw "communists" are just any people who think the health insurance industry is fucked and way too expensive, and that all people deserve to be treated equally, and that the ultra wealthy shouldn't have as much power as they do.
Has nothing to do with actual communism but the far right propaganda machine is trying to poison any of these ideas with a radioactive word to anyone who remembers the red scare in the 1950s (which, btw, was also a complete bullshit witch hunt because workers were getting too many rights at that point and starting to cut into potential profits of the ultra wealthy cancerous tumors).
btw “communists” are just any people who think the health insurance industry is fucked and way too expensive, and that all people deserve to be treated equally, and that the ultra wealthy shouldn’t have as much power as they do.
It's simpler than that. To them, "communists" and "socialists" are the same, and it's anyone that doesn't think businesses should be able to do anything they want, and any person non-conforming to their personal view of "normal" isn't even human. While most will not, some will even admit both of those publicly.
I have seen two different people recently with a trump 2028 yard sign, and wearing a trump 2028 shirt. People are evil morons.
Propaganda works.
Assaults on education work
I was thinking brainwashing… but I guess it’s the same thing.
REPUBLICAN
VOTERS
LOVE
RAPING
CHILDREN
AND
GENOCIDE
Everyone who ever gaslit you that this wasn't the case was wrong.
Republicans are, at their very best, the parents who know their kids are being raped by an adult, and punish the kid for speaking up about it because it embarrasses them and they rather the child rape happen in the dark.
It's a cult. Most will never stop believing.
Turns out the people who are quickest to say something is unamerican are also the same people who will ignore American values like the Pledge of Allegiance and the US Constitution just to "win."
The Pledge began as a marketing gimmick:
As branding expert John Gorman outlines, the pledge began with an initiative from The Youth’s Companion, a Boston-based magazine looking to expand beyond its religious roots. To reach a broader audience, the editors launched a nationwide effort to place American flags in public schools, offering them as incentives for new subscriptions.
Not such a great example of "American values", or perhaps since it started as a corporate marketing gimmick it's a perfect example.
He hates women, black people and minorities in general.
He's loud, crass, obnoxious.
He's tacky.
He's petty.
They’re locked in a decades-long cycle of abusive extraction.
American religion, politics, economics, and ecology are reaching the limits of an unsustainable system that only knows how to extract wealth and power. The Soviet Union collapsed for similar reasons. Above all, that form of government collapsed under the weight of propping up The Party’s false reality and its debts to the truth. Real operating principles flow from hard-learned evidence, experience, and wisdom. Societies simply cannot operate indefinitely from convoluted principals engineered to benefit only the few. This is the flaw in the philosophy behind modern conservatism - it’s fundamentally abusive.
People stick with the devils they know. When long-term planning is negated by the cognitive load of navigating abuse, it can be almost impossible to adapt to new sustainable modes of thinking and living. When the house of cards collapses, those unable to adapt cannot be saved.
Because 1/3 of Americans what to rape children.
matching his post-Jan. 6 trough
WTF happened in the interim? Fucking bird brains forgot about all the impossibly stupid shit he did and said?
They would have to know it to forget it. Our news sources had poor and little coverage of it all long term. Their news sources praised and cheerleaded it. They don't live in reality.
I find it almost unbelievable that 30+% still support him !?
And 30℅ were on the fence about putting an impeached rapist with a history of self enrichment and grifting into the highest office in the land. Apparently they were ok with it.
Still too high.
He's been "fuming", "exploding", "blasting", and "slamming" for several years now. Fuck mainstream media
Okay, so the media is ownsd by the right wing, as is the administration and supreme court, and all the tech billionaires, BUT for some reason the polls are owned by the leftwing?
Facism 101: the enemy is both strong enough to be feared and weak enough to ignore at the same time.
Crazy that 34% still approve of him but I guess realistically it cant get that much lower considering 10% will always be contrarians and 20% is about amount of americans that actively want to destroy the American project. for context I'm not an american
Oh it finally moved from 40% to 35%? Amazing. Probably exclusively due to gas prices.
If you look back at Nixon's numbers, even as he resigned in total disgrace, it will tell you a lot. The teaching of that history might lead one to believe it would be at or near zero approval, but that's not the case.
I doubt that Americans are all that unique in this by the way. I bet every country has their base of anti-intellectuals who want to see others being hurt (esp. women, POC, gays) and to give the finger to people that know more than they do, have more education than they do, etc. - AKA, the group of people these dumbasses call "elites".
He hadn't had a stroke so far, so the polls are still not bad enough.
Apart from that, how can a third of the country still not grasp what is happening?
A third of the country has been denied adequate education and services because the inequitable distribution of resources towards affluent urban versus poor rural areas.
Democrats have failed to significantly improve the material conditions in some of the poorest areas of the country, so a lot of rural voters feel betrayed and would rather go with the guy who is a outright greedy jerk, than the politician who talks out of the side of their mouth, while still obeying their corporate masters.
That's not entirely true though. Biden got through the Bipartisan Infrastructure Bill that invested heavily in developing rural electric and internet. He also supported the USDA ReConnect Program, and several other initiatives. Many of these things that Democrats helped pushed through were celebrated as "wins" by Republican Representatives.
What were they expecting?
Edit". I will say that more investments should have been made in education, but I will always say that we don't invest enough in education.
Rule proposal: no putting Trump's age near the front of the headline unless it's the headline for which we're all waiting.
I actually kind of like it. Nobody ever shut up about how old biden was even though his admin did all the work. Trump is a much worse -- sorry, I mean "hands on" leader, so his age is even more relevant. When he acts like the petulant baby he is journalists should absolutely remind everyone that he's a geriatric.
Daily beast is garbage.
Yeah. Every other headline is about how Trump MELTED, or CRASHED OUT, or left SHITTING IN HIS DIAPERS.
Wake me up when Trump is in jail or sleeping forever.
My god seeing that the us president is 80 makes me fucking sick. I hate it here.
I hope that when he dies, he will know he was unloved his whole life. Especially the last 10 of them.
I can guarantee you that he won't, because as a narcissist, his brain is utterly incapable of even forming such a thought.
I'm looking forward to celebrating when he drops below 30%. He can do it, I have faith.
"Everything that doesn't agree with me doesn't exist"
There's still people that approve of him?
80+ million of them. It reminds me of the George Carlin quote: “Think of how stupid the average person is, and realize half of them are stupider than that.”
Polls don’t matter, VOTE
