I'm really enjoying working with @logseq as a note taking and knowledge management tool.

Unfortunately I've created distinct graphs for different projects I'm involved in at work. But it seems quite heavy lifting to merge them together into one to allow for better cross-likability and task management across my 'work life'.

The new 'DB' version takes a bit of getting used to for me, but I can see the benefits over the previous 'OG' (markdown files) version.

If you haven't used it, yet, but are into stuff like #Obsidian, give it a shot. It's open source and fully cross-platform. #Logseq has a very low overhead of friction when working with it. Everything is a node, and it can all be linked with ease.

#Logseq is almost perfect, it just needs to be more seamlessly readable by #Emacs #Orgmode out of the box

@formlessoedon This probably will never happen. They're gonna be using a database instead of the file-based storage. So you could say goodbye to your accessible-from-anywhere notes.

And no, I don't think that using the de-facto deprecated and abandoned "classic" file-based version is an option.

Too bad about the database, but good to know! I guess I can always build by own thing that works better with Roam, rather than the current integration layer (which is one-sided). Doubt that will ever leave the maybeboard.
