Frankenstein: Through the Eyes of the Monster on CD-ROM
Ron Gilbert, what a legend. If you haven't played Thimbleweed Park you've been missing out.
I didn't know it was Tim Curry, but I'm pretty sure that his performance that I saw was in "Legend". Then most likely IT.
I don't didn't I played enough Wing Commander III (also feat. Mark Hamill, John Davies Rhys and other known actors, absolutely stacked for its time) to have met the character that Tim Curry voiced there, but I for sure played enough Toonstruck to have heard his acting there! Also an amazing game which features Christopher Lloyd.

Vladikov from McHales Navy
Tim Curry and Alan Rickman never starred in the same film together, TIL
I know him as Long John Silver in Muppet Treasure Island... What age does that make me?
Mr. Hector (the concierge) in Home Alone 2: Lost In New York (1992)
This for me too, I had Home Alone 2 recorded off the TV on VHS as a kid.
I still think of him as having a giant grinch grin
"I'm going to the one place that hasn't been corrupted by capitalism! SPACE!"
I just love when actors are clearly having a great time in their role. It makes me happy. RIP Tim Curry, truly we lost a good one.
Nigel Thornberry from The Wild Thornberrys
But more iconically from Rocky Horror.
That was one of my favorites, and I love Nigel so much. You blew my mind with this, I had absolutely no clue. He was ever present in our upbringing
I cannot think of the word smashing without thinking of his voice.
Til that was him
He absolutely made that show so awesome.
Clue.
I just watched it (for the thirtieth time) in his honor.
Such a great movie I fell in love with the movie and the Butler the first time I saw it, and is on the list of "will watch repeatedly"
He was the oh so smarmily, charmingly, evil Cardinal Richelieu in the Three Musketeers for me.
He was having too much fun in that role.
I think this and The Hunt for Red October are my earliest memories of him. Muppet Treasure Island is probably my favorite though.
For me, it was Hexxus in "Ferngully, the last Rainforest".
Both him and Robin Williams gave amazing performances for an animated movie for kids.
To this day, whenever I stumble or trip and fall, I still catch myself saying "Gravity works", or when I touch something disgusting, I'll end up singing "Slime beneath me, ooh, slime up above!"
Toxic Love plays randomly in my head to this day. Right now it's that and Jolene going back and forth which is an interesting contrast.
What. Happened. To. The. ENER-GY!?
It is such a quotable movie.
I primarily knew him from Muppet Treasure Island.
Yo same
IT. The 1990 TV movie.
Yeah… same.
Only know him of C&C and the awesome movie Congo (including the awesome PC game)
Born in ‘77, first saw him in Legend as Satan Himself. Much creepier than Pennywise if you ask me. I actually didn’t see Rocky Horror until my teens in the early 90s, I’ve seen it dozens of times since then. It’s my favorite role of his by far, he had so much fun and had a wonderful stage presence in it.
I LOVED Legend growing up. I did not recognize him as Tim Curry though, until later in life.
Home Alone 2
This is how I remember him, despite all his way more iconic and memorable roles.
I just see that big ol' grin when the credit card comes up stolen.
"Mmmmhehehe" it says to me.
Pure 90's nostalgia. 👌
Same, i was probably 7
Wadsworth, Mr Boddy's butler.
Welcome to Toonstruck! Mwahahaha
special room for special people!
For me, that would have to be Captain Hook of Peter Pan and the Pirates.
Legend for me, but not until a few years after it's home video release. My parents got it after Willow was a hit with me, and... well...
Saw it in theater as an 8yr old. My little mind was blown by the final speech he did as darkness.
Rocky Horror.
I can't even remember. Probably the Muppets. I did know of him before he was ever in Command & Conquer, tho. IIRC, Clue is older than C&C too. Came out the same year I was born.
He was so prolific throughout my childhood that it's hard to even think of just one. IT, Clue, The Three Musketeers, Congo....
first saw him in Clue but that doesnt show my age, i first saw it about ten years ago lol
Rocky!
Janet! Dr Scott! Janet! Brad! Rocky!
👀
pensive head twist glare from Rocky
Long John to his friends.
Annie
Scooby Doo! Night of 100 Frights.
In the theater watching Rocky Horror, toast flying, newspaper on heads, people up at the front acting it out. good times...
