Y'all can down vote me all you want but seems a little hypocritical. We're talking about using Android auto in your car, on a privacy group. It's not a privacy conscious practice is my point.

Automotive companies love all that data, and collect it, monetize it to data brokers, insurance "risk data brokers" etc. KIA/Hyundai and Nissan are there worst for it!

Would you give a stranger your phone so it can read you directions or tell you that you have a text from your mom? What if the stranger read it aloud for you? What if that stranger was hundreds of thousands of people called a company and they were selling that data to their other friends who charge you money for car insurance?
