"Houston, we have two Microsoft Teams, and neither of them is working."

[-] mkwt@lemmy.world 3 points 19 hours ago

How will you be able to talk to Houston if your Teams is not working?

[-] ZoteTheMighty@lemmy.zip 4 points 19 hours ago

In Microsoft Teams, no one can hear you scream.

[-] Lucidlethargy@sh.itjust.works 1 points 14 hours ago

Claude.

That's far more terrifying than Teams.

[-] heartSagan5@lemmy.zip 4 points 20 hours ago

Just data centers humming on geothermal and a desert wasteland.

[-] DarkSirrush@piefed.ca 48 points 1 day ago

2 different versions of outlook that don't work for some reason.

Fuck new outlook btw

[-] FreddiesLantern@leminal.space 11 points 1 day ago

It's an abomination. (And kinda shitty that it's yet another web app, you can copy the link for the background graphics even... so stupid)

[-] Doug@piefed.social 3 points 23 hours ago

And you can’t uninstall them.

[-] Manalith@midwest.social 12 points 1 day ago

Don't worry, we've already established that Outlook doesn't work in space.

[-] marcos@lemmy.world 6 points 22 hours ago

It's not much of a surprise, since it doesn't work on Earth either.

[-] TheEighthDoctor@lemmy.zip 12 points 1 day ago

Maybe that's an Alien cock we don't know

[-] Ypsilenna@sh.itjust.works 22 points 1 day ago

Someone made a comic like this long ago, but I can't seem to find the original artist :/

[-] Sergio@piefed.social 32 points 1 day ago

Well, it WOULD explain why Mars is a dead planet...

[-] Nobody@anarchist.nexus 24 points 1 day ago

“We’ve found an abundant pocket of water on Mars. Enough to sustain our proposed data centers for a few decades.”

[-] Coldgoron@lemmy.zip 2 points 20 hours ago

Big ass sign that says “Welcome to Theia 2”

[-] borQue@lemmy.zip 4 points 1 day ago

Teams already takes 22 minutes to work... add the delay to that and you'll be in an infinite loop of lost contact

[-] ace_garp@lemmy.world 3 points 1 day ago
[-] muusemuuse@sh.itjust.works 3 points 1 day ago

Goddamnit now I see it too

[-] FreddiesLantern@leminal.space 7 points 1 day ago

Two outlook accounts and both aren't working.

[-] Hupf@feddit.org 3 points 1 day ago

The Outlooks, they do nothing!

Fun fact, that big gash is called Valles Marineris and it's the deepest canyon in the solar system.

There's probably nothing scary in there...

Edit: largest not deepest, this is what I get for staying up too late

[-] frank@sopuli.xyz 3 points 1 day ago

It's definitely the largest canyon, if I'm reading Wiki right. It's over 4km long and 200 wide, compared to the Grand Canyon at 277km long and 29 wide

You're right thanks! Late night brain moment

[-] PlaneMaker@feddit.org 3 points 1 day ago

The Mariana Trench seems to be deeper, 11000 m compared to 7000 m. But I’m not sure what’s the reference point on Mars for elevation. But at least can’t fall into the Mariana Trench

You're right, thanks for the correction

[-] 14th_cylon@lemmy.zip 3 points 1 day ago

But at least can’t fall into the Mariana Trench

why not? is there some local anomaly that causes gravity not to work?

[-] PlaneMaker@feddit.org 2 points 1 day ago

I wouldn’t consider this as falling, but i get your point, i don’t see why sinking shouldn’t also be falling

I should have specified: at least you won’t die from the impact

[-] Vespair@lemmy.zip 1 points 22 hours ago

Air is not so different from water in the grand scheme of things, we're just designed for and acclimated to air rather than water. So yeah, I think sinking is at best a subgenre of falling.

[-] billwashere@lemmy.world 3 points 1 day ago

Man don’t scare me like this early in the morning.
