Perhaps if people are protesting you should spend more time understanding why they are protesting and less time trying to dox and break heads.

[-] waltersf@bookwyr.me 3 points 1 week ago* (last edited 1 week ago)

I don't think Nazis are in the business of understanding protest and the demands protesters cannot empower themselves to make.

[-] khannie@lemmy.world 1 points 1 week ago

You're forgetting profit.

[-] BigBenis@lemmy.world 6 points 1 week ago

The way they so casually discuss unlawful state surveillance. These people are comic book-levels of evil.

[-] whereitsat@lemmy.zip 3 points 1 week ago

what's scary to me is how all this violation is laid out so matter of factly, the weight of it all minimized with soothing corporate abstract-speak, as if they're talking about petty procedure. everything is not real and these are not people--it's all just vague ideas and words, as if you're learning about 18th century poets.

did someone already upload this to youtube as 'dystopian asmr?'

[-] waltersf@bookwyr.me 1 points 1 week ago

If you want to try it, go for it.
pretty sure you won't get far.

I should peertube although .

[-] waltersf@bookwyr.me 2 points 1 week ago

T+1:24 also mentions they are using illegal drone surveillance to gather illegal intelligence for cops.

[-] khannie@lemmy.world 2 points 1 week ago

This is fucking horrifying.

[-] waltersf@bookwyr.me -4 points 1 week ago

I only feel vindicated. Hundreds of anarchists, actual leftists, were saying #NoKings was liberal counterrevolutionary/deradicalizing. This is the smoking gun we’ve been saying all along.

[-] Delusions@lemmy.dbzer0.com 4 points 1 week ago

That's in literally no way what anyone in here is saying, or evidenced by the video, so if you feel vindicated you're an idiot

[-] Doom@discuss.online 3 points 1 week ago

It is like that Fauci thing. Republicans came after him in full for... doing his job and being honest.

Every anti-vaxxer went "VINDICATED, I KNEW IT!"

Fuck me. People hear what they want.

[-] waltersf@bookwyr.me -2 points 1 week ago

When’s the revolt?

[-] Feathercrown@lemmy.world 1 points 1 week ago

Jesse what the FUCK are you talking about

[-] Ganbat@lemmy.dbzer0.com 0 points 1 week ago

Bro, you just came in, said 2+2 is 6, and capped it with a "Checkmate, liberals!" What the fuck does anything you just said have to do with the video? Are you trying to imply that Flock's actions are some kind of liberal plot? That makes zero sense, and it's the most logical take from what you said.

[-] waltersf@bookwyr.me -4 points 1 week ago

Go back to watch every drone to every #NoKings protest.
They were all Flock drones.

[-] Ganbat@lemmy.dbzer0.com 2 points 1 week ago

That still doesn't say anything to support or explain your previous claims.

[-] waltersf@bookwyr.me -1 points 1 week ago* (last edited 1 week ago)

That #NoKings was counterrevolutionary/deradicalizing?
Has anything real changed after these protests?
Is peaceful law abiding protest going to end the illegal abductions, murders, undue process arrests, etc.?

[-] Cowbee@lemmy.ml -3 points 1 week ago* (last edited 1 week ago)

Weren't you saying that any organization not already taking up arms was counter-revolutionary? How do you counter a revolution that isn't happening yet? Shouldn't we focus on education, agitation, and organization over trying to claim anyone not presently engaged in guerilla warfare is anti-revolutionary? It sounds like you are advocating suicide by cop for the politically aware, which would set everything back.

[-] waltersf@bookwyr.me 1 points 1 week ago
[-] Cowbee@lemmy.ml 2 points 1 week ago

I'm aware of the fact that the US state apparatus crushes and delegitimizes organizing efforts. I fail to see why you believe the correct course of action to be, within this context, to launch a guerilla war.

[-] waltersf@bookwyr.me 0 points 1 week ago

me:

two things are necessary to be successful in a revolution . . . an idea in the head, and a bullet in the rifle! The force of action guided by the force of Anarchist thought.

u:

launch a guerilla war.

How do you get anarchist ideas in people's heads, if not by educating, agitating, and organizing? Wouldn't it be better to form a disciplined revolutionary organization that can do all 3, taking issues like public opposition to Trump to proliferate these ideas? That's what most groups have been using the No Kings protests for. Rallies and protests aren't just going outside, holding a sign, and going home. They come with numerous conversations and recruitment drives that advance these three lines.

[-] waltersf@bookwyr.me 1 points 1 week ago* (last edited 1 week ago)

At foodbanks, parks, libraries, free free markets, etc.. You have ⅓ of the population unwilling to get educated, agitated, organized. The other ⅓ is destroying educational materials, agitating, and organized. We are the last ⅓, the class conscience educated, agitated, but disorganize group. You won't be agitating the unwilling, or the nazis.

Rallies and protests aren’t just going outside, holding a sign, and going home.

Then how was your recruiting tally? We got zero volunteers. Heck Texas managed to arrest theirs, Utah got some killed, Michiganders got deathcamped. Demagogues are dead set on keeping us killed, burned, and unremembered.

[-] Cowbee@lemmy.ml 2 points 1 week ago

I can't give any numbers, but I can say that educating, agitating, and organizing is still very effective, and remains to be the most critical task. I'd say 5% are actually educated, agitated, and organized, maybe even 1%, or .1%. However, I'd also say that 75% of people are increasingly willing to learn, as conditions continue to decay and organization continues to advance. The rates of organization and radicalization are accelerating.

The way I see it, being unwilling is almost always because someone doesn't yet feel the need to. As imperialism decays, more and more people feel the heat under their feet, and feel the need to understand why. This happens at different rates for different people in different positions, but it is happening. And no, we can't really sway Nazis. At the end of the day, reactionaries exist, and will oppose us.

For clarity, I'm a Marxist-Leninist, not an anarchist. I used to be one, but that's no longer a part of my life. I am simply advocating for effective practice, which even anarchists should be able to copy.

[-] waltersf@bookwyr.me 1 points 1 week ago

The rates of organization and radicalization are accelerating

Where‽

Last time I got detailed that Americans have piss poor OPSEC.

I am myself opossum anarchist: my vanguardism ends with our freedom. No buros, no Trotskyism.
🦨

[-] Cowbee@lemmy.ml 2 points 1 week ago

OPSEC is generally poor, which is why disciplined organizations are necessary. As for opposing vanguardism, this just returns us to the problem at hand: how do you educate, agitate, and organize, without building up an organization with both discipline and the will to do so? This is why it seems to me that you are so cynical about everything, you oppose tried and true methods, and at the same time believe that because there is no guerilla war ongoing right now, that the class struggle isn't advancing. It's pure defeatism.

[-] waltersf@bookwyr.me 1 points 1 week ago

OPSEC is generally poor

Until this doesn't improve at an exponential rate, CIA, NSA, FBI, HSI, ICE, Marines, National Guards, state cops & local PDs will keep successfully deathcamping your undisciplined vanguard. I don't oppose vanguarding while revolting. I oppose it after the proletariat is free.

the class struggle isn’t advancing.

because we are seeing the exact opposite advancing: the class unconscious doesn't want to learn. They want to stay performing in social media. They want to keep electoralism. They want to pretend there will be justice served after 2028.

You know the first rule of warfare is securing reliable food. Until that is accomplished, fascism will remain the :amerikkkant: quo. Need not remind you, it's been past a generation of fascism.

[-] Cowbee@lemmy.ml 2 points 1 week ago

I haven't seen mass attacks succeed against the various parties attempting to become a vanguard. ICE fascists and the like brutalizing the people isn't the same as succeeding in arresting organizers, even if some have been explicitly called out by the capitalist state. As for the vanguard becoming unnecessary after the proletariat is free, I agree, but we likely have different views on how the proletariat as a whole and it's vanguard reinforce each other, and what the timeframe for the proletariat becoming actually free is.

As for the "politically unconscious," this is not a permanent fixture. Again, socialism and communism are more popular than ever before in Statesian history. There's no chance that everyone of them understands what these words mean, but plenty of them do, and this number is increasing. People's ideas come from their material conditions, and are largely learned through struggle.

[-] waltersf@bookwyr.me 1 points 1 week ago* (last edited 1 week ago)

I haven’t seen mass attacks succeed against the various parties attempting to become a vanguard

Did you miss the Prairieland Vanguard being sentenced for life?

this number is increasing.

WHERE‽

People’s ideas come from their material conditions,

Material conditions that have NOT been secured. And because they are not secure, Nazis will, and force everyone to ID. There’s no difference fom Putin’s fascism, and today's :amerikkkant:. Just more :amerikkkant: stealing from those they oppress.

[-] Cowbee@lemmy.ml 2 points 1 week ago

I did miss that, yes, because I can't find any reference to a "Prarieland Vanguard" association. I do know that the state has cracked down on groups, but the idea that such an association could be a vanguard is off.

As for the number increasing, it's very well documented, to the point that porkie is terrified.

Material conditions are not to be "secured." When I say people's ideas come from their material conditions, I mean the way we live and our surroundings shape how we think. Living in a moribund empire is radicalizing more people, and if you haven't seen that then I am not sure you've been paying attention.

[-] answersplease77@lemmy.world 1 points 1 week ago

Wtf is the difference between US & China again?

[-] Cowbee@lemmy.ml 4 points 1 week ago

China had a socialist revolution that established its present socialist government in 1949, the US is a moribund empire with no way out. From there, mountains of differences manifest, such as the high perceptions on democracy in China:

As well as the consistent rapid improvement in the living conditions of the poorest in China:

China is rising rapidly, while the US is slowly decaying into a dragged-out demise.

[-] answersplease77@lemmy.world 2 points 1 week ago

I'm curious what is the source/title/year for the first graph you put up?

There is something wrong when the sanctioned suppressive communist evil dictatorship with more than 3 times the population is doing a lot better to their poorest citizens and public services, and in the same time improving the economies of at least 30 other countries worldwide, while the transparant peacfull freedom-loving democrasy which control and leech on the economies of at least 100 other nations worldwide is improvishing their poorest citizens on top of sucking the global economy dry.

My comment was basically mocking the US saying China is an evil communist dictatorship that surveilles people and jails them if their social score got low... while the US literally does the exact thing with flock and plantir and cracks down on people's with anti-gov rhetoeic all while claiming freedom and democrasy.

The US claims for their people political representation, freedom of voting and speech, and transparancy of public money while seeing none of the prosperity it is supposed to bring to them, while calling China's governance suppressive evil corrupt socalism and seeing them do better in every aspect . It's obvious this narrative does not sell anymore, and people in the US know they have openly-bribed politicians who siphon their state taxes to another country without accounbility because all their government is controlled by corporations, whose goal is to enrich their shareholders who ALSO make the laws, and choose who gets to work and who gets fired in the government itself.
Let aside these oil, tech, military corps, who all enrich themselves from people taxes, and bribe politicians on the expense of improvishing their citizens and destroying the world and environment, on top you have AIPAC, which is not even a corporation or industry in any sector. AIPAC whose goal is serving the intrest of a foreign countryliterally chooses who and who cannot work in the US government at the highest of highest levels including foriegn sec Rubio and their defense sec Hegseth, and their VP Vance, and the president himself. And it's not new to Trump, Obama, Bush, Clinton and since the 50s they killed Kenedy when he dared to disobey.

Also China has adopted a contrasting foreign policy which attest to real economic growth and wealth creation. For example China's global influence in lending and trading with countries through Road and Belt initiative, and by investing and building up developing countries transportation and energy projects -VS- The US doing it by selling wars to these developing countries and appointing a puppet government for them.

[-] Cowbee@lemmy.ml 5 points 1 week ago

The source is from the latest Democracy Perception Index, gathered by NIRA data, a western org. And you raise good points, socialist China is clearly doing something right as the west, especially the US Empire, continues to decay. The contrast is stark, and is becoming more and more visible every day!

American sees something american happening americanly in america: what are we a bunch of ASIANS?!?!???

[-] yucandu@lemmy.world 1 points 1 week ago

This is where the money is. If you're still living in America at this point I hope it's because you can't afford a way out.

I don't think most Americans have thousands of dollars either.

In a normal and functioning democracy this would have ended in an absolute scandal, journalists would be able to stop writing about this, there'd he riots in the streets, and...

Well, this is the US, it'll just blow over in under 24 hours and even until then, nobody will care enough to give enough fucks to do something about it
