I believe his people booked the interview after congress started barking about grilling him again. Nothing wrong with reminding people that yes, this guy is a PoS, but an irrelevant PoS and a congressional witch hunt doesn't change that he's a distraction.

The man’s effectively a nobody at this point, he’s old news and not politically relevant to anything going on.
He's politically-relevant to the current state of the Democratic party, a fucked up election, and corruption of Joe Biden. Democrats repeatedly ignored his crimes and conflicts of interest as a nothingburger. Dems being tribalistic about "one of their own" instead of simply holding him accountable did them no favors.
Biden and Hunter are old news. They’re not relevant to anything that’s going to matter to the current or future Democratic Party. Hunter especially is not relevant given he’s not even a politician. Whatever legal issues Hunter, the private citizen, has are between him and the court as far as I am concerned.

Why should a political party take responsibility or control over someone who isn't on any of their ballots just because he's the family member of someone who is? Seems like a pretty dangerous thing to advocate for.
