Mehdi does a lot of holding right wing people's feet to the fire too. Hunter Biden was just having a moment recently and it wouldn't be reasonable to not hold him to the same standard. I believe his people booked the interview after congress started barking about grilling him again. Nothing wrong with reminding people that yes, this guy is a PoS, but an irrelevant PoS and a congressional witch hunt doesn't change that he's a distraction.
Well, maybe not like their lives depend on it, but the window of time for them to do their smash-and-grab is not going to be infinite.

I was happy to cheer for him when his greatest flaw was his severe drug addiction, and loved watching him clap at conservatives perl clutching etc... over him.
