Isn't it like, most animals?

There was this study showing that bees were doing a cost-benefit balance about resources, which is also thinking against impulse. Are we going to pretend to be shocked about every new study that shows that animals are sentient, just so that we can delude ourselves more into thinking that it's not immoral to kill them?
