Yes, that's true, but these specific legs need the focus and the attention right now because they keep getting shot by cops at a way higher rate than any other legs. If you ask "where did you read that?" the response will probably be that they were talking about it on fox news or OAN. Or maybe Twitter propagandists. Illegals can't receive welfare or food stamps or anything like that. You need a social security number, or at least proof that you've applied for one. People with temporary legal status receive a temporary SSN, so if they overstay their work visa and become illegal, they also lose that SSN.
Your manager could easily google these things, and the fact that he confidently spouts bullshit without even bothering to ask AI to verify first says a lot about him both as a manager and as a human being.

Republicans pass up no opportunity to deride the post office and they defund it/depopulate it every chance they get. I was just at the post office, huge post office in a major metro that's always been very busy. It now has only one of three buildings open, half the lights off inside it and one clerk at the counter. The line is always out the door. Meanwhile several people in line, quite obviously Republicans (old, white, obnoxious/noisy), are bitching and moaning about how shit the post office is. Republicans are stupid, shitty, worthless people.
