Rape is practically universal in US prisons. The problem is vastly underreported, we'll never know the true extent of it. It's not just inmates (of all kinds), the guards revel in it.
... and we have more prisoners than any other country, there are millions of inmates.
Of course, we could make the guards wear cameras with every room being monitored, but I guess why bother? We're not going to charge them anyway.
Our entire culture is one of raping. We rape the land, our neighboring countries, the oceans, the financial system, and each other in every way conceivable.

I used to frequent 9gag when it was mostly ragecomics, countryballs etc. (and also quite some time after that), but nowadays its just xenophobia, racism and incels.

You either gotta use an app/front-end with filters, or accept having your mind expanded, be it for good or ill (or both, since one can lead to the other).
I prefer the second option 99/100, but I do have an app that's heavily filtered for when I just can't bear the ugliness of the world for a few hours.

Also keep in mind: trans women are toys in prison. They want to keep them in longer, they give them sex offender charges for resisting (the trans sexual predator claim comes from this partly, other than that is that many trans women turn to prostitution to survive, which is a sex offence)
On top of that, BOP policy is to cut off hormones and do conversion torture. So they toss you in a cell to be raped like a woman, while trying to torture you into not being one.
Cutting of hormones is worse than simply forcing a detransition. Suddenly stopping produces effects similar to menopause until her natural testosterone return to typical male levels. Depending on what other procedures she has had done, a transwomen without artificial hormones may never return to healthy hormone levels for either gender.
