As an actual advice, teaching my kids baby sign language really helped with communicating before they learned to say words properly.
Taught all my boys sign language, the shocked looks from other parent's at play group when the 8mo asks to open a container or for a nappy change.
Very useful skill, but 10 years later they never shut up....
Lol same with my boys. In fact they're using sign I never taught them.
Unlocking communication early really helps. If baby can communicate their needs, they will be less frustrated.
My son only used 3 signs actively, but it let him say that he wants water, or stop an activity, or that he wants more.
👉👈 was his favourite, he used it to say "again" or "more" or as a general call to action. He was very happy that it worked. It was hilarious when i checked in my suitcase at the airport, saw it ride away on the belt, looked and me and showed 👉👈 to do it again.
He also combined gestures with words later like "🤷♂️ is" meaning there isn't, or it's gone.

We always said brains instead of milk. I'm still kicking myself for not getting video of our toddler wandering out of his room all sleepy and asking for brains.
Another good one is teaching them to exclaim “mama Mia!” after they fall down. Cracks me up
I literally tried to do this with my kid when they were in their twos. He did it a few times to humour me, but he prefers more quotidian modes of speech.

My nephew has taken to huffing and rolling his eyes whenever has to do anything he doesn't want to do, he picked that one up from his mum, she was a great eye roller when we were kids.
Whenever I hear "behold" in my head, it's always in Heinz Doofenshmirtz's voice while introducing his latest invention/weapon to Perry the Platypus.

People sometimes comment on how stilted my speech is. I think if I had a kid, I'd kindof do this kind of thing to them without trying.
