And that round screen shows who is to blame.

I perfectly understand this joke and that doesn't make me happy. At all.
Its not a joke. It is a call for help.
Left pedal: git fetch
Right pedal: git push

The fact that that wasn't part of the meme tells me that Java must be falling off.

Given those pedals down below I assume he likes to check his side-view mirror a lot.
He seems ti have a whole side view parabola
Semi-serious answer: Sometimes your PC has only two working monitor ports, and you choose to solve the "need more monitor space" problem by getting bigger monitors.
The way I have my two monitors set up is fairly similar to that single curved display, so I could see this being a natural upgrade path for me.
More serious answer: I like video gaming on a widescreen, my PC isn't only for work.
None of my GPUs have more than one HDMI port, so I set up nccl and tossed in a spare GPU.
Sometimes the solution is to "upgrade" with old hardware that's been obsoleted for a few years.
(I'm so glad I kept that gtx1650 in my dev board cabinet)
One more monitor for the tie fighter setup.
I prefer two cheaper flat monitors side by side. When I need to I temporarily hook one up to a Raspberry Pi or whatever and look at it and my PC at the same time. There might be a way to splice two machines into one super-wide monitor, but this is dead simple.
I originally bought my superwide monitor to hook two machines into side by side. They generally have two sets of inputs that makes this easy.
Now that I think about, you could use a dual HDMI picture-in-picture setup off of the same gpu and you would get a second monitor contiguous with the first, and you can set and forget for your Raspberry Pi projects.
If you're working in the Linux console alone, you could also ssh into your Pi and, for instance, have your local machine on virtual console tty1 and the Pi on tty2, switching between them with ALT+Fx. Still only one monitor. ๐
Ah but how do you enable ssh if you've forgotten to enable it (again!) from the initial firmware load on the SD card...?
Lol. Been there, done that. ๐ 'twas a long time ago now, but was it not simply naming a file ssh or sshd and putting it in the root directory? But then you'd have to have created a non superuser user and set a password too? Ah... My memory fails me. Better luck doing:

What is this gif from? I recall seeing a longer version i wish i'd saved
I wish I knew... I just searched for "ritual" :/
You will also note the large mirror above the desk: this is to allow ample opportunity to look at ones self whilst deeply rethinking prior life choices...

Onlyfans demands age verification for me now ๐
They'd be good for the Excel sheets my boss wants us to use at work.

The left one, for boot logs on tty. Btw, any way to pipe them to less? Some important messages are not in dmesg on Alpine.
This really depends on your kernel. Try looking in /var/log/messages. If you have CONFIG_PSTORE enabled, you might have something in /sys/fs/pstore.
Also you can put something like console=ttyUSB0,115200 in the kernel command line and read them over serial.
Welp, there's learning to do. Thanks for the competent answer.
