You know the ones.. telling us how they're investing in this and that and the other. How Ontario is improving and thriving.

I'll leave my opinion aside to reduce bias, but hey, my comment history is public.

Much love!

And his brother is a dead crackhead. Hey this fact sharing game is pretty fun!

Edit: no shade to those who are addicted to any drug by the way. It's a shame, if only we had the social services available to help him recover.

I sure hope these deadly decisions the Ontarian government is making don't incur some sort of karma for those making them.

Maybe if we all pray hard enough the problem will fix itself! Or maybe we can raise funds through online gambling, or awareness through paid ads, or demand justice by erecting giant signs about lakes?

Don't get me started on those fucking gambling ads.. may as well just start advertising smokes and booze again like they used to

It's weird. Gov't ads are a comm channel that can and should be used to inform people what the gov't does. At the same time these ads are not representative of what the gov't does. So it's the same shit when the libs used ads to boost themselves as the cons do now. It's not great.

I agree with all of your points. If it keeps happening no matter the party and no matter the reality, then it's nothing short of a systemic problem.

My problem and why I'm not jumping straight against the ads themselves is that ads or not, these governments rarely represent us. I've been here since 2005 and while the OLP gov'ts have done some material contributions for us, it's always been tinker round the edges, bare minimum shit. The PC gov'ts being actively harmful. So I see the ads issue as a minor symptom that I don't focus on. I need the gov't to represents working people, not corpos - in other words the vast majority, not the minority at the top.

Agreed, I saw the ads as an easy way to spark a bigger conversation around the issues. I agree with your points and its really great to see others from Ontario feel the same.

They're almost as bad as all the signs and stickers he uses our money to buy from his printing company for 10x above market.

Ontario PC are fucking hypocrites. "We're building nuclear plants to safeguard Ontario's energy independence!" Bitch, you canceled several major wind and solar farm projects that were like 80% done, just out of spite.

And don't get me started on the fucking depravity that is their defunding of the education and health care systems.

Saw them non-stop during the world cup. They are dumb as shit. Here’s a bike lane near your park with a proper crosswalk in your sage suburbia. Bullshit.

"You know the ones..."

I don't watch tv or listen to the radio so I don't know the ones you refer to.
