Actually I came to suggest Kratom -- it does not show up in drug tests, even for opioids (bc it's not an opioid though it binds to opioid receptors)

There was a dark period in my life where I was getting not just urine tested, not just hair tested, but also body-hair tested, across the full 10-panel spectrum. But I have sworn upon the altar of God eternal hostility against every form of tyranny over the mind of (this particular) man, and so I discovered Kratom.

I've met many people who say they were able to wean themselves off actual opiates by using Kratom.

I've used Kratom and managed to neither overdose nor get myself addicted or whatever. It's not actually heroin. Yes it can be addictive and abused. Happier?

The fact your first advertising point for kratom is that "it does not show up on drug tests" says everything. If you came in suggesting it to someone saying they're struggling with opioid addiction, then yeah, maybe (although it's inconclusive). Just showing up and recommending this dangerous, addictive garbage with no caveats, though, is gross.

It’s not actually heroin.

Yeah, that's why I called it "gas station heroin"; it, like you said, binds to μ-opioid receptors. It's functionally a bootleg opioid being sold in gas stations. "Gas station heroin" fits.
