Our family's secret Santa is extremely rigged. All my siblings and their partners are in it, but not our parents, so my mom does the "random drawing." It's pretty obvious the drawing is constructed so that my least affluent sibling always draws someone new every year, and the person who had the best year monetarily draws my least affluent sibling. I think she got the idea from her mother-in-law, who I suspect did the same thing with my father and his siblings. I think that's Right and Good and a software solution that made it more random wouldn't be as effective — there’s just so much software can’t take into account, like who’s beefing, who has similar interests, who drew whom last year, and who visited whom recently, that it just makes more sense to let someone fix the draw.
I love this

What I've been using for my own Secret Santas.
Helping you host your secret santas without leaking your guests' informations since 2015
The actual pair shows up in a link you send out, no forcing people to give emails, or ruining the surprise for the organizer.
Also lets you rig it by forcing a pair to occur, or preventing a pair from happening while otherwise leaving it up to chance.
Heck yeah, thank you!
Post Today
The idea is to post one post a day, any day you remember to, to this community.
Whether that is an image, a text post, a link to a song or an article or anything else is up to you.
Crossposting - You may find that your post here could also fit another community, in which case you should crosspost it. However I recommend making the original post in the other community and then crossposting here. Many communities have stricter formatting or content rules, so its best to make sure you are meeting those before making your post.
