Too nervous to ask for the buzzy butt so I'll just ask for 6 strokers and then act like I forgot and then be like "Oh yeah and one buzzy butt. its for my sister"

American Graffiti reference for those who are curious.
Devastating aura
Whatever you have planned for tonight, you can count me out.
"Just doing some Christmas shopping for my grandparents.."
I fucked up self-checkout at my local CVS, and the clerk had to come take the toy out of one of those anti-theft canisters.
Luckily, I was girlmoding at the time, and so I (hopefully) passed enough to not look like a creepy guy.
Bravest thing I've ever done in my life, lowkey.
Anyone can (or should be able to) buy sextoys without looking creepy.
Am a straight dude, and went into walmart to get my babymama a dildo cause she broke hers. What's even funnier, i did this at the walmart i worked at the time. Oh the laughs and jokes everyone had and all i could do was shrug and laugh with them.
They sell dildos at Walmart?
They have for awhile. Pretty good 7 out of 10.
Onn brand?
Yeah, I'm just hypervigilant about that stuff because I don't wanna creep women out (I usually don't pass as a woman) and I don't want to hurt trans folks' already poor public perception.
I’ve been worse… imagine TSA,,,
And showing multiple items… in front of everyone… after physical inspection…
"Of course, it's company policy never to imply ownership in the event of a dildo. We have to use the indefinite article, "a dildo", never ... your dildo."
This CVS knows it's audience; Putting the sex toys right below the Pokemon Cards.
I’ve got thousands of dollars in sex toys and tenfold that in Pokémon cards—too right.
Hey, hey come closer.
I'm one =>" buzzy bee"<= wink wink.
Cash: heh?
I'll have the "thrilling experience" eh?
Cash: ...OH! Oh you mean the, sure no problem.
scan fails
Cash through mic: "pricecheck at checkout please"
Storeclerk yells: I can't come over right now, just tell me the product!!!
Cashmic: it's erm... it's kinda...feedback noise
Customer: IT'S A BUZZY BUTT SEXTOY FOR ME OK?!!! TODAY PLEASE?
(All in jest of course, when someone is uncomfortable discussing these matters we approach that appropriately)
$38 is an insane price for a silicone butt plug
As someone who doesn't buy many butt plugs that seems reasonable. What should I expect to pay with a good butt plug plug?
For a single vibrating silicone? $20 on Amazon, $30 at a local shop. Then again, it's been a minute since I've bought one, maybe they're more pricey now ¯\(°_o)/¯
Priced specifically for the horny and desperate
Stores don't stock or sell much variety anymore because everyone buys online now. I mean how many people are buying sex toys every day.
At least around here, things are priced like it'll be the last one the ever sell.
Based on the name I assume it also vibrates at least
"I..I.ii...iits FOR CHESS!"
I can think of no power move like ordering the CVS butt plug in full view of God, beast, and man. It lets everyone in the store know that you're a better, more comfortable exciting person than they are, and that if they are nice to you then you might stick things in their butt.
"Could you please give me The Stroker?"
I bought one at Walmart. It was no big deal to get an employee to remove the security tag thing.
"I'll have some Pokemon cards and the stronker, I'm hoping for a Lopunny card."
I feel worse for the cashier.
Having to grab the toys for people but also the Pokemon cards too, which are likely behind there to prevent scalpers from just taking every pack off the shelf. Having to tell people the limits on the amount of packs they can purchase is probably very stressful.
C: "What do you mean I can only get 2 packs of cards!?!"
E: "It's to make sure that more of our customers can enjoy themselves."
C: "You're fucking me here!"
E: "You not gonna believe this, but we have something for that too..."
surely almost everyone just places a pickup order online
Never once have I done that
How often are you buying sex toys at CVS?!
Twice, meanwhile, I've never ordered "pickup" from a store.
I, however, have been picked up from a store.
Is that a hemorrhoid treatment mixed in with sex toys? or what else could a 'tush cush' be
😉 its just mid quality lube marketed for anal sex. Baby oil works way better.
Just remember to use a water based lube, not an oil bases lube, if your toys are silicone. IMO coconut oil is the best lube for anal, but not if you're using a silicone toy.
Also y'all are crazy if you're buying sex toys at cvs, just go to an adult shop, it's cheaper, better variety, and everyone knows exactly what you're there for.
Coconut oil is good, but BD cumlube clear and J-Lube are the best lube for anal (and both are safe with toys!)
J lube crew!
What? Silicone is specifically oil safe except for silicone based oils. That's one of the main perks of silicone. You're thinking of TPR which shouldn't be used anyways because it isn't body safe.
Adult shop isn't always a better option. My local Target has a better selection and better prices than the two adult stores in my city.
I would me more worried about creeping out the clerk, especially if it's a young she, like they often are.
My wife had undiagnosed vaginismus for quite a while, so we used a lot of lube to try to compensate and quickly figured out what we liked. One evening running into a walgreens to restock on lube for some planned activities, I couldn't figure out why the cashier was being weird until I remembered what I was buying. Poor young lady looked to be about 16 years old. Sorry ma'am!
Now imagine calling store employee for help of picking one, ask if they may know products they selling, ask for recommendations, ask if they have them in pink color, or brown.
When I was young I asked the cashier (woman about my age) what condoms she recommended. I bought what she told me to.
I did this once while buying them with a woman. I did it to embarrass her and the cashier was totally into it. Good times were had by all.
What, you don't ask for the price and haggle first?
I don't get it, who cares if some random person who's name I don't even know sees me buying a buttplug?

Moderator Guidelines
- Don’t be mean to users. Be gentle or neutral.
- Most moderator actions which have a modlog message should include your username.
- When in doubt about whether or not a user is problematic, send them a DM.
- Don’t waste time debating/arguing with problematic users.
- Assume the best, but don’t tolerate sealioning/just asking questions/concern trolling.
- Ask another mod to take over cases you struggle with, if you get tired, or when things get personal.
- Ask the other mods for advice when things get complicated.
- Share everything you do in the mod matrix, both so several mods aren't unknowingly handling the same issues, but also so you can receive feedback on what you intend to do.
- Don't rush mod actions. If a case doesn't need to be handled right away, consider taking a short break before getting to it. This is to say, cool down and make room for feedback.
- Don’t perform too much moderation in the comments, except if you want a verdict to be public or to ask people to dial a convo down/stop. Single comment warnings are okay.
- Send users concise DMs about verdicts about them, such as bans etc, except in cases where it is clear we don’t want them at all, such as obvious transphobes. No need to notify someone they haven’t been banned of course.
- Explain to a user why their behavior is problematic and how it is distressing others rather than engage with whatever they are saying. Ask them to avoid this in the future and send them packing if they do not comply.
- First warn users, then temp ban them, then finally perma ban them when they break the rules or act inappropriately. Skip steps if necessary.
- Use neutral statements like “this statement can be considered transphobic” rather than “you are being transphobic”.
- No large decisions or actions without community input (polls or meta posts f.ex.).
- Large internal decisions (such as ousting a mod) might require a vote, needing more than 50% of the votes to pass. Also consider asking the community for feedback.
