A security company that uses chatbots for anything does not care about security.
Say it louder for the people in the back.
Goddammit I just migrated to tuta
Never interrupt your enemy when they are making a mistake – you’ll lose the opportunity to take notes and copy them.
All I want is to email in peace. Is it truly that much of an ask?
Goddamnit, I was thinking of moving to Tuta next. I think I should just stay still for a few years and reassess then.
I recently got a free aol.com email address. I don’t really use it but I thought it was funny that it’s still possible to get an aol.com address.
Yeah ... might just end up going with something self-administered on my own domain at this point.
Currently trying to set up Mailfence, but they seem to be getting pissy about me using a VPN. Start a privacy-focused email service, then ban any user on a VPN ... true genius.
If you're not in Germany, good luck. When I tried to sign up with them in the past, they blocked my account, as they said they do not allow US people to use them. But it is not just the US.
Self-administered email is such a pain with blocklists (SORBS etc).
Plus, if you've changed just to avoid AI slop you'd be spending a lot of hours validating that there is no AI code in your stack - else what's the point of moving.
All sounds horrible to me. I'd rather we make our voices heard to the business leaders in email that AI code is unwelcome and hopefully one to two change course. We'll see if that happens of course..
There go my plans of switching to Proton mail
Mailbox please stay away from this mess, please stay away from this mess.
Ffs man.
99% is way over estimate, I'd be surprised if 80% was realistic.
I hear fastmail is good
tell me you didn't read without saying you didn't read
Big brain tech dude got yet another clueless take over at HackerNews etc? Here's the place to vent. Orange site, VC foolishness, all welcome.
