They can keep the carpeting. I want full size candy bars.

Okay, yeah, the arcade carpet was pretty awesome.
Maybe these guys could install it for you
The the carpeting
The smell of mostly cleaned vomit and soda.
I think I am getting the the fear

The two “the”s let you know how serious they are.
Whenever someone does that, I reread it in Jeff Goldblum's voice and it becomes scintillating.

I'm very close to replacing my basements carpet with this and installing a couple black lights. Than I just need the pinball machines to put in it. That'll be the most expensive part
black lights
Risky, I like it.
The sex dungeon is adjoining, so we'll see.. literally
Yes, the carpet and lights.
Does it also smell like a bus seat?
No no, it smells like 2000 incidents of an 8-year-old puking up soda and birthday cake, which was then cleaned up by someone making minimum wage.
That's what a bus seat smells like.
New York City subway seats taste the best.
how? they're smooth plastic. nothing to hold onto the flavor.
what you really want are the blue velvet seats on Philadelphia's Market-Frankford subway line
Smooth plastic holds the puddles better.
Can confirm, I was the kid.
MYSTERY SCIENCE THETHEATRE 3000
The early 1990s called, they need that carpet to hang as a backdrop for school photos.
That stupid backdrop (for my older brothers’ school photos) had toddler-me convinced that school would be like a party.
I was so, so disappointed.
Oh so that is what a migraine while hungover looks like
the best part: if/when you puke on it because looking at it gave you the spins, you can't see the puke!
You puke big rings? Are you Sonic?
no, you realize there's like a dozen people in those games it could be? my culture is not your costume, asshole!
Hey babe, new sonic lore just landed
I actually have a roll of this in my trash treasures pile. And they say hoarding doesn't pay
You can buy it and have it installed. I did. It was even cheaper than most regular carpet.
Supply and demand still works!
You and @DonkeyStar@lemmy.world need to exchange carpet supplier contacts.
We really do, because I was coming up with around $300 of carpet to cover a $400 arcade machine, which felt excessive.

Came here for this
Sims 1 shit
Look, kid. This isn't "sims 1". This is "bowling alley" or "skating rink".
perhaps you're older than me, but my back hurts and the hair is going gray, so throw my weight into the ring and say

Don't throw your weight into the ring, you'll pull your hip. Just ease it into the ring.
i am pretty resilient with my inversion table equipped!
Skating rinks still exist and they haven't changed the carpet. Went to one a couple months ago
PARIS
IN THE
THE SPRING
You can still get it, it’s just really fucking expensive. I built an arcade cabinet and wanted to stick The Carpet to the sides instead of graphics. Turns out my budget was better suited to buying bulk packs of misprinted stickers on Temu.
Gosh the carpet must be REALLY expensive if 1 yard of it is unaffordable.
Nah, the problem was that suppliers wanted a minimum, and then I’d have to pay for shipping. We have carpet stores locally, but they don’t carry it.
