Everything has just been escalating and escalating. One character (Tyreese) even acknowledged a few times how absurd everything is, almost 4th wall.

My thought was, something happens, and they suddenly wake up and discover they have been trapped in a sort of VR simulation. Then they have to stop the bad guy, but everything is super grounded like the first movie.

Sort of like in Last Action Hero when they escape the movie. Or a bit like Saints Row 4.

I am basically at the point where I juat flat out don't care anymore about anythng. Because why bother. At this point, best case scenario, the world cooks us alive and kills all the food in 10-15 years.

Basically, OP has that extension, as well as everyone who is part of a dislike brigaiding campaign.
