I have zero problems with the Pope retconning the bible into a more peaceful, anti-war version.
Even the author of BNW wasn't sure of the world really was a dystopia or not. A lot of people do seem to have a lot of freedom, and most seem happy (or at least, not unhappy). Sure, a lot of questionable things have been done to achieve that goal, but if 99% is happy with their life; can it really be a dystopia?
Almost the entirety of computer graphics uses the z coordinate for depth afaik.
Even Minecraft does it.
He's done his best to scrub the footage, but here's an interview where he's questioned about it, and he defends doing it as a joke. The video also has a short snippet of the footage where he does shove it up his ass.
It's easier to find screenshots of the whole incident, video is harder to come by.
Not sure that matters too much, frogs in the US are boiling fine too. The constitution can be brushed aside just as easily.
It's a pretty simple concept. Train any kind of model on only "good" data, and it fails to distinguish between that data and bad data.
Take image recognition. Feed it hundreds of images of an orange and ask it to find the orange. After training, it will be very good at finding that orange.
Then add a picture of a Pomeranian dog in there, and watch as the model confidently marks it as an orange.
The model should have been trained on lots of images that don't feature what you want it to output as well, so it knows to distinguish that.
It'd be hilarious if Peru deports him back to the US.
Yup. When a right-wing government asks, he complies. When a left-wing government does, he sues.
Mediabiasfactcheck is not exactly unbiased themselves.
They're self-contradictory in their own assessment here. They find no failed fact checks, yet their accuracy is rated as "High", not "Very high". No motivation is provided for this. They also state RFA lists sources, but most articles on North-Korea especially only cite "Residents in the country", thus not providing anything verifiable. It's also why most major news outlets don't use RFA as a source, their stories are not verifiable. It's mostly sensationalist tabloids like The Sun in this instance that uses them as a source.
Additionally, Wikipedia does mention some failed fact checks, especially concerning anti-vaccine misinformation. See the article here: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Radio_Free_Asia under Controversies.
RFA is not a particularly credible source for this reason. It's basically impossible to prove many of their claims, so scepticism is warranted.
This of course doesn't detract from the fact that NK is ruled by a nutcase dictator who brutally oppresses his people. But we don't have to necessarily trust a story with as much credibility as some fanfiction here. This story could well be true, but I don't want to assume that this is fact based on the nonexistent sourcing.
"ente Verification Code" also looks like a misspelling of "Enter Verification Code". Might also be tripping something up.
It's a simple adventure movie with likable characters, a good cast, a plot that captivates but is not unnecessarily complex, excellent humour and none of the many references to DnD feel forced at all.
Easy 9/10 imo.

It's a bit more complicated than that. This specific SS boss had already been assassinated by Dutch resistance in 1943.
What likely happened is that after the Jewish owner of the portrait died in May 1940, his collection was placed in possession of Göring. He then sold many of the works in October 1940, and presumably this is when Seyffardt purchased it (we don't know for certain). After he died in 1943, the painting presumably passed through his son and ended up with his granddaughter.
The case only came to light now because another family member discovered that he was family of Seyffardt, which he didn't know because the Seyffardts changed their name to avoid association with the Nazi collaborator.
So since there was no knowledge or record that this painting was ever in possession of Seyffardt, and he had already been busy being dead for 2 years when the war ended, the trail just ran cold.
