Oh. Yes. I found that confusing, too.

I think the discount displayed is always off of full price? So it might actually not be a discount for me, at all, compared to one of the bundles I could complete.

I do like that it grabs me the best price - when I put it in my cart - but it has surprised me when the bundle ended up in my cart.

If the bundle is even 0.1% cheaper than the base price of the game, that price and percentage takes priority when displayed in your wishlist, which makes no sense at all.

I think that makes perfect sense. It's the best possible price, it should get priority.

I have had it save me money several times by steering me to a "complete your bundle" that was a better discount than the sale price.

They should fix their sale percentage calculation, though.

The kirk motorcycle fight is pure power-cringe

Absolutely, yes - it was silly.

But - the only reason we never got that motorcycle fight earlier with Shatner was lack of budget.

It doesn't fit the tone of orignal Trek because original Trek couldn't afford it, not because original Trek would not have sunk that low, if it could have. Haha.

The redaction in the Epstein files is a mess, since - if the redactors are to be believed - it seems that kidnapping victims were indoctrinated and became perpetrators.

While I agree that an indoctrinated victim is still a victim, I am sympathetic to the those demanding everything be exposed. Roaches don't fear much, but they fear exposure.

Quanon did quite a nice service for some of today's billionaires by exhausting the angry witch hunters before the real serial rapists could be exposed.

Er... yeah. The other explanation also sucks.

Many "why do billionaires do this?" questions get easier to answer after a quick read through the Epstein files.

TL;DR of Epstein files - Billionaires seem to enjoy stalking young people to choose which ones to abduct to their private rape island(s).

That's the beauty of the law - no one knows (except everyone with any expertise, who just won't admit they know.)

Yes.

Combining shitty AI in very clever ways for slightly less shitty outcomes is the future of (today's) AI.

But the fraud artists won't tell us that, because no one needs a data center to do that long boring slow work. Haha.

They want a data center because it is expensive and disruptive, and a great thing for the rest of us to talk about while the fraud artist disappears with all of the "investment" money.

Their goal is to steal sucker's money.

It's been done with chess computers and even terribly clever horses.

It works because both chess computers and terribly clever horses actually exist - and are interestimg.

And so people argue about that.

Instead of talking about how this stranger showed up asking for trust and money, while actually having a verifieable history of fraud.

No. Calling them out would be talking to them when I don't strictly need to. That sounds like no fun.

They're already using AI to improve the Ai models and interfaces.

Sometimes my truck needs another truck to get from point A to point B - a tow truck. I don't brag about it like I've invented trains, though. Haha.

Like any great party, they'll all have somewhere else they need to be right when it's time to clean up the mess.

I updated the closet under my stairs again today.

It's too small to be terribly useful, and my house is old enough to need frequent repairs.

So the under stairs closet is for tool storage.

Today I added wall hooks to keep my tool bags off the floor.

I'm trying to convince myself this will magically make me turn the corner and keep this closet responsibly organized. I'm failing.

But not having to bend down too far to pick up my tool bag should be nice.
