Free space.
Excellent. Can "brings up love of trains in an unrelated conversation" have a separate space from "the world would be a utopia without cars"?
It's basically the same, but I really like trains and wanted an excuse to mention them.
Sub-thread of a conversation of something unrelated becomes an open source software recommendations mini thread.
"I think that's our airlock, Scotty. Our approach feels fast?! Oh. There it went."
"Okay. Yes, let's enjoy a nice sweeping panoramic pass."
"Thank you, Mr. Scott. Now let's go brief those crew all lined up at... we missed the airlock again, Mr Scott."
"Shall we double back?"
...
"Right. After another sweeping panoramic pass. Of course. No, it's fine. I can cut my speech shorter."
"THIS is Ceti Alpha V!"
Please fix the tabs thing.
So, "Star Wars: Starfighter" gets to find out how badly a modern sci-fi can get it's ass handed to it by the original "Star Wars". This should be entertaining.
But then - "Directed by Shawn Levy", so I'm gonna see it.
Nice.
This duck is the new acceptable answer, when someone asks "what is art?".
All philosophical answers need not apply. The answer is just this picture.
Any detailed philosophical arguments about art are still allowed to continue, but those discussions must now treat this "smoking duck stuck in traffic" as their shared first axiom.
Everybody says the data isn't retained. It's very stylish, today, to claim to delete unused data, at least until it get breached
This feels penny wise dollar stupid, by the restaurant.
If I go into an all-you-can-eat restaurant, and a person like this guy isn't there being treated like royalty for being a regular, I know the food, and the vibe, will suck, and I'm not coming back.
The whole thing reeks of bad management, by an owner or manager who has no idea what line of business they're in.
