He is in danger, or rather his career is in danger, if he voices his political opinion, no matter what direction he takes.

That doesn't disprove the second option mind you. But wanting to be left the fuck alone in the current hellscape that is american politics doesn't make you a fascist. It at most makes him a coward.

The same can be said the other way round and is already the case. With the current veto power Hungary acts as a Russian proxy and blocks as many important desicions as possible.

I agree that it doesn't help the corruption issues we already have and I think a simple majority shouldn't be enough. But removing the veto power in favor of a supermajority of like 85-90% would make it feasible to stop dickheads like Orban without compromising too much. (Let's face it, if you bought 90% of the EU, the last 10% shouldn't be that big of an issue either).

That means letting them fail stuff, get detentions, get bullying, etc. kids need to be left to fail and learn for themselves how to deal.

I was one of these kids that didn't get much support from their parents and had to solve most things alone. I felt every consequence when I was too late for something, when I couldn't find the mental energy to concentrate on a given task or when I broke a social rule I didn't even know of. The only thing it lead to was avoidance of certain situations/problems and masking of the underlying issues.

You seem "normal" from an outside perspective, but the issues are still there, just invisible to everyone else. And guess what, not treating/accommodateing chronic issues makes things worse, not better. Constantly masking takes a huge toll on your mental health. You basically learn that you yourself are the problem because the only way to ever get acknowledged for anything is by not being yourself. Combine that with all the social issues and bullying you experience due to not understanding the social contract and you get an adult with depression/burnout, an identity crisis and cPTSD as well as ADHD/Autism.

You then have to spend your 20/30s unlearning everything you learned due to the oh so glorious consequences in you childhood. Otherwise you just sink deeper into your hole.

Externally there is no possible way of really stopping him that wouldn't lead to full on war considering how desperate he seems about declaring martial law. And no matter how pathetic the US is looking right now, they are sadly still the number one military might. (Maybe apart from China, what they lack in tech they definetly have in numbers).

A lot of nations already reduced trade relations, but that at most will lead to internal unrest. Most nations barely humor his antics, but there are also a lot of nations dependant on the US.

Internally the most likely candidates to dispose of him would be the rich and powerful oligarchs, but they are currently raking in trillions of profit for peanuts in bribes. The only two things left are either a military coup (which wasn't that unlikely just a while ago), or a full on civil war.

It doesn't have any desire, but its really good at "solving" problems in unexpected ways.

They are currently trying to improve their agentic AI by making the AI itself prompt other AIs. Considering how much the output of a single prompt can vary due to weights and hallucinations, it wouldn't surprise me all that much if they started out with "make yourself better than Claude" and 4 AIs deep they reached "destroy all our competitors."

Its by all means stupdid as fuck, but that corresponded with the entire AI Industrie, so who knows.

Straight up banning ai won't solve this issue either. People will just commit code either way and simply won't tell you they used ai.

[–] Jako302@feddit.org 1 points 1 week ago (1 children)

That would be a good argument if not for the simple fact that ai straight up lies to you.

And its not even a question of using a "good" or "bad" model. We have observed a mathematical constant that shows no matter how large of a model you use, you can't get below a certain percent of hallucinations.

Its far less common because models got bigger (and more Ressource intensive), but it still happens too often.

Or to phrase it in a different way, would you use a calculator if you knew every 30th answer it gives is wrong?

had 10kwh battery, range of 150k

That doesn't really math out, its like 3 times the efficiency that car manufacturers normally give, and they already assume optimal conditions.

That sounds more like a beach buggy with a battery bolted to the back and a top speed of 40 on an even road.

If the same combination is issued multiple times then no, they don't work as intended.

The issue here wasn't that the license plate was too colorful, it was that the missing national standardisation allows for over a thousand cars with the same plate.

[–] Jako302@feddit.org 1 points 1 week ago

Then make it 7 or 8 characters like most countries have. Its not like that wouldn't fit on plates. With 8 chars you could remove 2/3 of all combinations and still have an order of magnitude in reserve.

Banks are the one thing that should use apps. Browsers have too many security issues.

The bigger issue is them using the google integrity bullshit, that's not necessary.

Multiple reasons can be true. I could afford kids but I don't like them. At the same time I lack the energy for such a constant responsibility. But both of these reasons don't exclude the fact that I'd rather have humanity die out than set another person in this world as long as the current downward trend continues.

What reasons I tell people depends on who I'm talking to. Especially old people get really condescending if you simply tell them you don't like kids.
