Yea it feels more 'static' when it comes to content, not necessary is a bad thing - a topic can remain relevant longer, almost felt like the good old forum days.
I notice similar pattern at lemmy.world as well.

Been procrastinating on loading my AA insurance card details into my BP and Countdown app, guess I don't have to do that anymore
