You can just set it to desktop mode. It happens when scrolling on mobile. Or, just stop using reddit altogether

longer movies are fine for me. It probably got longer because they tried to add other characters to at least link it to the MCU or that they had to have sufficient backstory so new viewers could still follow.

It was on my very first start. I tried closing then opening the app but it didn't fix the issue. I know opening Google Maps will fix this because this also happens on Pokemon Go when the GPS location is inaccurate. Opening Google Maps seems to trigger a better algorithm for GPS. Not sure if this is device specific though or due to power saving mode.

I guess Google play hasn't served me the latest version yet. I will wait for it and try again. I am on version 1.2.11

I think a lot less people care about consoles now. People are moving over to mobile, not necessarily solely Android or iOS, but stuff like Switch or Steamdeck.

I have tried it. So far, I had to open the Google Maps app while the app is open so it will exit "Waiting for GPS." Maybe for it to trigger the location service. Also, I think the map will be friendlier if it can be rotated based on the compass or manual rotation by pinch. The current setup would be fine only if you are already familiar with the roads in the area. But, for a free app, I like that there is an alternative i can use for Pokemon Go or Ingress.

Can't really do anything about that unless you want a smaller view with black bars on certain cinema

I understand the pushback due to concerns of farmlands turning to datacenters. However, this nationwide pushback never seemed to apply to SM when expanding their malls by having to cut trees or even those turning farmlands to subdivisions. The pushbacks were mostly local. Now that it is being turned for something productive, the pushback is nationwide. Sad.

Not a troll. I am already aware of lemmy a few years ago during the days where everyone stopped using reddit for a while because of that thrid party app thing. I just didn't move into yet, not until I am now fed up with the reddit shadowban even after constant appeals. And, lemmy world seems to be strict with account creations that block the use of email masks.
