I'm genuinely interested in knowing whether a case like this would be picked up at all. In the UK, it appears there is no minimal amount od damage incurred, so in such case I'd really think it's possible. Db0 don't even need to be the ones to sue or report the incident according to what I could find.

The wheels are built extremely thin (0.75mm aluminium) to save on weight. The rover is incredibly heavy (340kg/750lbs in Mars gravity) on those paper-thin wheels, I'm really amazed it held this far.
