The moment you step into the field is fair game. The players should be allowed to attack.

I'm hoping to be able to keep up with the football (soccer) highlights and news. I really enjoy the short clips of the goals, and specific events that happened during the games.
I believe that because the earth is spinning on an axis, then it's difficult, if not impossible, for the pollution to cross over. It's always going to get dragged into a vortex towards the poles. In the same way a hurricane or a cyclone does not cross the equator. It's physics.
I found the same. Would be good to be able to pinch to zoom
The link works for me, but I don't see any posts there.
I think many instances have updated their Lemmy version.
Clear your cookies and cache for your Lemmy instance, and it should work.
I've just done that myself after reading another comment about it
Laser Kiwi can fuck right off! It was funny at first, but now it's just pathetic.
Have not seen any plans myself. Kiwirail do have a GIS viewer, but it's not mobile friendly. At first glance it does not appear that they own any land beyond Melling, so would probably need to acquire the land.
One of the reasons I suggested the Melling Station be above the Riverbank car park was so that it could continue along Harcourt Werry Drive, and avoid the properties around Owen Street.
Direct messages between friends, and workmates mostly. Imgur.
Other countries didn't give women the right to vote, so why should we? It's because it's the right thing to do, and other countries will eventually follow.
I mostly used Reddit for Football (Soccer) highlights, so I'm really hoping that Lemmy will provide the highlights for the games I follow. I've subscribed to a few communities that have potential.
I also enjoyed other subreddits such as instant_regret, nextfuckinglevel, yesyesyesnoyes for the LOLs but I can live without that. I'll find my LOLs in other places.
I think this problem could be partly solved with the option to curate your own feeds. Currently I am using Connect for Lemmy, and I see 3 feeds, Subscribed, Local, and All. It would be good to be able to create a new feed and populate it with content from specific communities.
And going even further, I should be able to make my feed public, so other people can subscribe to my custom feed too.
Maybe this is already an option with some of the other Lemmy apps?
