This is my favorite example. They replaced all guns with finger guns, so they were all just pointing at each other menacingly

Good lord they look exceptionally soft. It's impossible to resist disturbing them

Wow you're right, he's the author of the infamous "is-odd" and "is-even" packages. What an odd person.

Someone in the OP PR mentioned the amount of energy used to download these tiny packages and its actually something crazy to think about

The paper doesn't use psuedocode as I know it. In my experience pseudocode looks much more similar to real code. (According to Wikipedia I'm more used to mathematical pseudocode)

I've never been a fan because writing some simplified Python seems better. Or even better, writing Python that doesn't necessarily follow every syntax rule to a T and takes liberties where necessary to improve readability

Also how is this being exclusively associated with the US?

I mean I get it, we like guns and this is the US version of Amazon, but it's not like we have these toys in every household. And it's not like other countries don't have guns present in their culture (video games, movies, etc.).

They are most likely produced in China and are definitely going to be uncommon.

It's like making a post "the US has 80-gallon drums of lube no joke". It just feels like rage bait with an anti-US agenda

Edit: Got home and did the most rudimentary search on the U.K., France, and Swedish version of Amazon. An identical or closely similar product is available on all of them.

I'll go ahead and say this also includes all "Souls-like" games for me.

Combat seems clunky, buggy, and unnecessarily difficult. I don't have a ton of time to play games, so when I do, I want it to be relaxing.

Okay, if not for your own cat's safety then do it for the good of the environment.

House cats are non-native species who are subsidized by humans feeding them. Thus they can kill purely for pleasure and often do. Every year, house cats kill billions of birds (and rodents) and it's an ecological nightmare that is putting massive pressure on wildlife.

Please, just don't do it. It's unnecessary. You can create a stimulating environment inside and if you cannot then you shouldn't get a cat.

Kind of torn my niece is starting to like video games.

On the one hand, they're amazing and I still play them all the time. They're integral to my life and are a medium above others in quality, accessibility, and affordability.

On the other hand, they're a double-edged sword. It's hard to be healthy while playing video games without good discipline. And I think back to times I chose video games over homework and I regret it. I don't necessarily want her to follow an unhealthy hobby, even if I love it
