There wont be any creative work, anything that catches the eye. Everything will look pretty much the same, same style, same design.

If it works and sells, why bother - some might say.

The idea of you, reading generated summaries, docs, paperwork now as your main job is pretty silly.

You will spend rest of your life skimming the text and chat with computer about the generated docs. All the organic work will be assigned to your agents. Now you will have to move from technical side and check how knowledge is collected, analyzed, researched instead of real work. You will just become a digital paperwork reader and will approve it or not.

All weight of responsibilty and accountabilty is on you. It would be "great" to have multiple agents working together and have you able to switch between multiple contexts, keep up what nas been done and how.

All human have some capacity how much knowledge we can ingest at once, analyze it, make a decision etc. We won't be able to get past this unless we really want to put all responsibilty on whole AI.

To be fair, yes, I'm just another person on the fediverse for all of you, but for me, this is the reality I live in.

I've always wondered about all the AI hate around here, and if this is just a fediverse thing, but realized recently that it's not. In fact, people are generally getting tired of constant LLM and genAI use. I've already noticed people getting turned off by AI flyers more and more, sentences like "oh, they switched to an AI flyer", in a voice of disappointment. And recently, I was at a trade show, talking to one of the reps at a booth, and it was really interesting to hear what he had to say on the topic. Apparently, two years ago, he constantly got questions about AI, wanting to hear that the products contain AI. This year, people also ask him fairly often if his products have AI, hoping to hear that they don't have AI. And he was able to clearly say, there is no AI in his products (at least not the LLM kind, only the classic, non-neural network kind).

I don't even know what to say here, if my partner pulled this I'd be serving them that expired milk..

Let me start this by saying that this is an honest question. I figure nobody would be better suited to answer my question than a group laser-focused on the negatives of the technology.

I see these types of memes a lot and see statistics of gallons consumed in a lot of articles I read. What I don't understand though is where the water goes that it can't be reclaimed or naturally return from a gas to a liquid.

As a kid(long ago), I was taught of the cycle of rain and the conversion between gases and liquid. It's my understanding that when a liquid is used to cool something, it also follows the same conversion process as it cools.

Could someone explain to me what's going on in this process where the 264 billion gallons of water used in the meme do not return to a liquid state?

I would appreciate any insight into the process that seems to defy this cycle that I am missing. Like I said prior, my knowledge of this process ended in middle school science class so I'm confident that I'm missing something.
