Did you read the article? He and others stopped a pedophile from getting his hands on a young girl. Allegedly, the pedophile was the one who escalated to violence in both charging at the victim and stabbing a defender.
The article does not state why the other teen shot him. Why are you assuming the worst?

To be clear, he was shot sometime after the incident where he defended the girl, reason unknown. But I agree with your sentiment.
Idk i think your comment makes perfect sense, the rest are getting angry because they don't understand it maybe. You're not assuming anything negative about the victim, just noting that it's quite the shame his life was marked by violence, and it's a microcosm of the problems we face as a nation with violence that our children have no choice in participating in.
