Bash Fighter is a browser-based platform fighter supporting up to 20 players in one match, playable directly at https://bashfighter.com/ with no download or account. It's licensed AGPL-3.0 and open to contributions; source is at https://github.com/BashEntertainment/bash-fighter. It's early/pre-1.0, built with a deterministic fixed-tick sim and a PixiJS renderer. Thanks, this is useful. The scrolling issue was real: at a 720px-tall window the character roster below the fold had become unreachable. That is now fixed and deployed, so a reload should show it working.

Still doesn't work. i have the cursor below the played game on the homepage and still can't scroll down.

On player count: one follow-up so we get usable signal from this - was the problem telling your own fighter apart from the others, or that everything is just too small at that zoom level?

I think identifying my player.

On distribution: it is already on itch.io (https://bashfighter.itch.io/bash-fighter), and Steam and other portal sites are not planned for now.

It's not a issue of distribution. i think people are just more likely to buy a game on steam even if it's free then to just do a paypal donation due to psychological reasons . for example shattered pixel dungeon sold probably around 1.2k copies just this week. it's not even the best selling game with open assets and code (that would probably be mindustry). but i think shattered pixel dungeon is probably the best case study in how to fund a open source game.
