I mean at least Claude is real...
That's not better though. You can worship god all you want and he's not gonna do anything bad because he's not real. The same can't be said for Claude. This could have Consequences.
The worshippers are doing the bad, no need for some god to step into it all.
But but but the machine God moves through me, you see. My hands are his hands. My undertakings are God's will.
Not with the capability of omniscience, though, so........
Not all gods have been thought of as omniscient historically.
I know. I was pointing out that these people apparently worship it for it's omniscience and intelligence, neither of which it has.
other than the" christian one", most other non-christian gods are only powerful in thier aspect of that religion.
It's really funny, something I learned very recently, is even in Christianity, God isn't the only God. It is just apparently like "you are not allowed to worship any other gods."
So Christians basically act like he is the one and only.
Which is reinforced by the fact the Bible hardly ever brings up any other deities/gods besides God. You have your named Angels and such, but that's not the same.
The more I hear about Christianity, despite going to church most of my youth, the more I realize I actually don't really know that much (or may have forgotten it) about the religion's lore aside from the Creation Myth.
Ooh, snap!
