We're doing Christmas Lunch today, since yesterday was a bust. Mum is hosting and out of all of us she's the only one without a dishwasher but she will NOT let anyone take over from her, lol. We haven't done gifts for several years and have always stressed that it's a low key affair but somehow having it on not-Christmas-Day seems like a much more attractive idea.
Question for the group: will you be venturing out into Boxing Day Sale Madness? What have you got in mind to score cheap?
No plans for me. While there appears to be big discounts on black Friday and boxing day, etc, in my experience this is an illusion and you can get similar prices year round if you shop around.
Unnecessary shopping?? Fuck no!
The last thing I need is more hassle, Christmas carols and horrible shit I really don't need :)
I just can't understand how some shop as a hobby/past-time...
I placed a click and collect order at Supercheap Auto, which I picked up before 9am. That’s about it so far for me. Other things I was looking for either aren’t discounted or would be ordered online anyway. Don’t really like waiting in queues in crowded shops with no parking.
Enjoy your lunch!
I have actually never been out shopping on Boxing day in my life. Always low key wanted to but spending time with family is nicer, and it's not their scene.
