Square-based pyramids would be far more stable.
That just sounds like a low-poly cone. Upgrade your GPU (Grain Piling Unit).
From the pictures, it is clear that the silo didn't fall over, the walls collapsed. The base of the silo appears fully intact, something has caused the wall to fail some distance above the lower cone.
Some guy thought the pyramids were ancient grain silos, I was being silly.
Ah I see.
