MODERATORS

Hi team,

Just wondering what proportion of you donate to the party you support?

I'm not really interested in which party you support, just if you donate or not. And the reason(s) why.

I donated early on in TOP's existence.

Why? Because the more minor parties there are the better. More minor parties with focussed policies temper the behemoths of the major parties.

Also more minor parties in government reduce the risk of a Winnie as Kingmaker situation.

I couldn't agree more, the king maker situation was definitely the tail wagging the dog.

That, then leads to the question.... Do you still donate?

No. They needed it when setting up and reaching the threshold to register as a party.
