Does anyone know why some people who park on the street put road cones at the front and back of their car? It seems like it makes getting in and out inconvenient and provides no benefit.
I figure it's just entitled people using them to stop someone else parking there when they leave.
Sounds like a good way to get a cone stolen to me.
Some tradies working on a site near me do it to give a bit of warning around a corner.
They don’t actually put the cone around the corner and it’s a bit pointless, but the sign they hang off it shows the intent.
Is it to try to stop poor parallel parkers from bumping into them? Provide some cushioning?
