The article reads exactly that though, he is against it, but doesn't want to drag politics to his performance.

We know it's not AI in the original sense of the word, but we don't exactly know what intelligence is either.
Human brains are but electricity going over logic gates, which boils down to 'pile of math' as well.

Good beans are important. Single origin farm. Light roast, not too old, ideally local roaster.
Next, open the bag and let it sit. There are all sorts of volatiles in those beans. Sounds scary.
A month later, crush them with a hammer and boil in a pot for 5 minutes.
Optionally sieve into a cup. Add banana flavouring. Serve luke-warm.

It literally takes screenshots of what you're watching (this was known for a while) and listens to your conversations in standby.

The question is - are you happy to keep your door open, invite a stranger to stand in your room whilst you go about your day? If not, why do we allow electronics to do the same?

The concern then is this data is sold and used against you by insurance and so on.
This isn't a conspiracy, this does happen.

Well, at least someone put a bit of elbow grease into that tomfoolery.

You think these people code?

[-] filcuk@feddit.uk 21 points 2 months ago

My texts are rubbish because, somehow, the keyboard predictions & autocorrect are worse now than 5 years ago. We have LLMs barfing out fully coherent sentences on their own, how does this even happen.
