If anthropic was worth anything at all as a life coach, when asked how she did on the date it would tell her she was awful. No one wants to be recorded and the only people that would find this acceptable wouldn't be worth dating.

I experienced the worst kiss in my life on a first (and last) date, and that’s not feedback Claude could have provided her.

and the only people that would find this acceptable wouldn’t be worth dating.

For her it seems to be a requirement so it's a great filter.

"She found the request to stop recording triggering".

gasp Her entitlement! You can't take away her entitlement!

The article saying she cannot get many second dates. You are so obtuse and annoying that even being rich and gorgeous isnt doing it for even shallow people.

AI use is the stupid person's shibboleth.

Who knows what kind of messaging is really behind this? Imagine you're in a cult that believes if public-private partnerships don't proprietarily monopolize the entire AI industry worldwide, DeepSeek will turn everyone into bone paperclips & jerky. It would be easy to justify a prank that also conveniently captures the attention of a widely romantically-deranged society to save ~~your stock~~ the universe & stay in people's brains. Hell I bet they're coaxing those guys that do the shooting on purpose. They've probably got 300 guys in Nigeria right now pretending to be God speaking through ChatGPT to find the next Great Crashout victim. Just a thought really.

I mean over and over again they have been caught using overseas remote labor and calling it "ai". Like musk's stupid robots.

I dont think you can fix this kind of crazy. What's worse is this person has money, power and influence.

I'm sorry but treating dating as a sport is pretty much the epitome of what's wrong with society today

[–] BreakerSwitch@lemmy.world 19 points 4 days ago (1 children)

So a few dates in does she still record to ask claude how she performed in bed?

And she would pay for that service if it gave her feedback at the end no doubt. Straight up cultists worshiping their "all-knowing" AI god and begging it for wisdom and instruction on everything like a helpless child.

Source? Where is this from? Is the source real or some AI generated slop?

Thanks! That's a pretty article with good reporting. https://archive.ph/xfIRm

The next paragraph also makes Chang seem less crazy, because for some people with social anxiety this sort of objective, non sentient intelligent feedback could be useful.

“Can I be more engaging and empathetic?” she says she might ask Claude. “What are the percentages of me talking versus them talking?”

For training in social situations, you could make a sort of game out of it. Have the LLM throw some smalltalk or flirty thing at you, and you have to banter back. The the LLM roasts your performance lol.

In a business setting this transcription does make a bit more sense. But it should all be locally hosted transcription, not blasted into the ether. Data protection laws should apply. All recording should be indicated ideally by some symbol like ⏺ or something. And you should have spaces for privacy. It wouldn't take much to make this less insane.

From the sound of it they are already overdoing it, like some datahoarder nonsense. Like navel gazing. Producing tons of data that nobody will ever look at. But maybe an AI could go through it all and extract some useful ideas or lost agendas or things that have fallen by the wayside. Like a "friendly overwatch management system" lol.

Which reminds me of Manna. I do think one of the killer applications could be management, like an AI managing people, deciding if someone can go home early without being an asshole about things. It could be used for good. Could also create a more classless society, because we'll all be low level worker drones haha.

I’m not attributing who said what

The resulting analysis must be pretty informative without attributing who said what… Maybe it’s one of those word collages where it shows word frequencies with bigger fonts
