Okay yes, per article
continuing its EV rollout and leaning harder into hybrids.
In the paragraph about how this isn't a decision to spend more on EVs, it's a decision not to cut them

Wasn't Toyota the brand most hesitant to move to proper EVs from hybrids and also the third biggest anti-climate lobbyist in the world?
I'm pretty sure their definition of EV is more focused on PHEVs than BEVs, which is to say, gas powered vehicles
Well we're pumping the defense budget up to $1.15 TRILLION. So we gotta spend that money somehow. Edit: can't spent it ALL on Israels genocide
So a few dates in does she still record to ask claude how she performed in bed?
It gets worse. The FDA identified where the cyclospora was coming from, then said "actually never mind, they're perfect" after realizing the company had donated $3mil to conservatives
Yeah they said, only Trump controls it. Also he doesn't remember invading or that the account exists
Ahhhh forgive my confusion, thank you for explaining.
This is a GOOD TAKE by YOU. The big danger on puts is that you can AT MOST make 100% of the investment if the company collapses completely to $0. If, for whatever reason (the market can remain irrational longer than you can remain solvent), the stock explodes upwards, you can be on the hook for WAY more than 100% if the stock increases dramatically.
Let's not forget they've been emulating amazons efforts to drive prices up across the market
I don't mind hard games. At all. I've done all the souls games, big fan of meat boy and hotline miami. I have the skill and the willingness. Overcoming challenging trials feels rewarding. Unfair difficulty can be frustrating, but I can get through it in limited amounts.
What I don't have as much patience for is punishing games. Hotline miami in particular comes to mind as "this game is actually very difficult, but death is a single click to get back to the action, so 15 attempts to get through a room feel trivial." Many roguelikes are the opposite, not necessarily terribly difficult, but a mistake can be punished with restarting an entire run. Either your build catches on fire, or you've burned an hour or more with no hope from the start. If they're punishing (start the entire run over), AND difficult (extremely threatening encounters), AND unfair (complete RNG on what's on the other side of every door, might be a death sentence)? No thanks.
I do appreciate the appeal of "the world is threatening and you'll need to learn what's survivable by exploring it" though. Big fan of that.
Listen I'm at least POSTING in the lancer ttrpg community here Edit: point being, even if I got no traction, making an effort to get community bubbling up in those spaces before resigning yourself to looking on reddit is the only way any of them will get started
It's getting closer. We keep getting dotcom bust parallels. We saw the desperation superbowl ads following private investor funding dry up, we're on to IPO to cover that gap, and spacex has demonstrated the writing on the wall for public market investors, that AI stocks will plummet. Probably even further once insiders are allowed to sell. Combining trying to pay your employees in stock, which is worthless by compounding forces of big stock generation, lack of investors, and attempting to reduce costs by taking advantage of stock value, it's 2001 all over again soon
