Women only trans inclusive This is an inclusive community for all things women. Whether you're here for make up tips, feminism or just friendly chit chat, we've got you covered.

Rules…

  1. Women only… trans women are women, and transphobic or gender critical talk isn’t allowed. Anyone under the trans umbrella (e.g. non-binary, bigender, agender) is free to decide whether a women's community is a good fit for them.
  2. Don’t be a dick. No personal attacks, no aggression, play nice.
  3. Don’t hate on groups, hatefilled talk about groups is not allowed. Ever.
  4. No governmental politics, so no talk of Trump actions etc. We recommend Feminism@beehaw.org for that, but here is an escape from it.
  5. New accounts or users with few comments may have their posts removed to prevent spam and bad-faith participation.

I totally understand, who would like to be a man 😅😅🤣🤣🤣 even men want to be women! Jokes apart, in my real life I never met transwoman, so I am very much curious everything about it. I have heard that it's the way person feels like that is way takes this road. Which I hope for them it's smooth and gentle. P.s. I think it's similar topic to be a mother. Some become moms, some can't, some adopts ,some having hard time to become. But my personal opinion is that if in heart woman wants child, she is already a mom. She has that desire, she acts in certain way with kids ect. Best wishes to all women!

I dont care what your gender is or who you want to fuck. Everyone is a person and deserves love and respect.

Hear hear! Welcome to WomensStuff we are a trans inclusive women only community and ask cis men don't post 🥰

[–] anomnom@sh.itjust.works 6 points 1 day ago

But apparently not great at aligning graphics.

[–] kuiskaaja@lemmy.ml 9 points 1 day ago

trans women will never be men!

[–] TheLeadenSea@sh.itjust.works 7 points 1 day ago (1 children)

Okay?....

Was someone here saying we weren't?

[–] Taleya@aussie.zone 10 points 1 day ago (1 children)

Usually when you see a post like this yes, someone was being a transphobic ass. This is shots fired.

Sometimes the positive message is motive enough to post.

What’s the point in questioning it?

[–] unknownman@lemmy.zip 3 points 1 day ago (1 children)

This isn't a positive message. This is just stating the obvious, which literally just makes you question the thing. You don't write "Murder is bad." everywhere, do you?

[–] velma@sh.itjust.works 8 points 1 day ago* (last edited 1 day ago) (1 children)

Trans women are women isn't a positive message?

It's acceptance. It's a bold statement in face of the world that doesn't see trans women as women. It's a welcoming message. It's a reminder that this place is a safe place for trans women as well as cis women.

[–] unknownman@lemmy.zip 1 points 1 day ago (3 children)

To me, not really. It's just stating the obvious. I'm fairly sure almost everyone who's here already knows it and have it as a baseline. So again, who is it for? If one has an opinion on a subject, that means they've already researched the facts and derived their belief from logic. So stating this feels more like a "alright, already knew it though". Constantly stating the obvious makes people doubt themselves, and makes us think "am I missing something?". This post literally just brings argument even though there's nothing to argue about..

We have zero tolerance on transphobia, and we're a women only community. Your account is already deleted but i banned it just incase

[–] velma@sh.itjust.works 5 points 1 day ago (1 children)

almost everyone

Well then that's not everyone, is it?

The only one arguing here is you

[–] unknownman@lemmy.zip 1 points 1 day ago (1 children)

Nice straw man.

"Women only trans inclusive" btw.

[–] velma@sh.itjust.works 4 points 1 day ago (1 children)

Your post history is not a secret btw.

[–] unknownman@lemmy.zip 1 points 1 day ago (1 children)

"Anyone under the trans umbrella (e.g. non-binary, bigender, agender) is free to decide whether a women’s community is a good fit for them."

[–] velma@sh.itjust.works 3 points 1 day ago (1 children)

And you have clearly demonstrated that not everyone reads the rules in a community before posting.

So this message, this post, is still relevant for this community.

"Unknownman" - if you don't want to be perceived as a man, don't post that you are a man.

[–] unknownman@lemmy.zip 1 points 1 day ago (1 children)
[–] velma@sh.itjust.works 3 points 1 day ago (1 children)

You posted 4 days ago that you were a man.

Please respect the rules of this community. If we want to post welcoming messages for transwomen, we're allowed to do so.

[–] unknownman@lemmy.zip 1 points 1 day ago (2 children)

So? Saying "I'm a dude" in *an unrelated post btw) means that you know exactly who I am, and that I'm not included in the "Anyone under the trans umbrella"?? All inclusive space my ass. I express a thought and you're literally stalking my profile, analyzing my name to determine my gender and deciding to exclude me out of a community lmfao

[–] velma@sh.itjust.works 3 points 1 day ago (1 children)

You came in here hot under the collar looking for a fight.

That’s not the vibe here regardless of gender.

We don’t have to welcome men in here.

[–] unknownman@lemmy.zip 1 points 1 day ago (2 children)

So what's the vibe here? Stalking someone? Why are you commenting on my posts? Are you going to look trough any database dump just in case my name is in it and try to hack me to figure out where I live? Come on now. Nobody's looking for a fight, literally expressed my opinion and wrote down why that post can be counterintuitive.

[–] RedSeries@lemmy.blahaj.zone 4 points 1 day ago (1 children)

I'm not really involved in this but what an insane response. Your username and comment history are public and I can look at them with a click.

Anyway, I have you tagged as "man" in my Lemmy client, so ultimately I'd say I'm practically committing identity theft on you right now.

[–] unknownman@lemmy.zip 1 points 1 day ago* (last edited 1 day ago)

Great straw man. A few things:

  • My profile & posts are completely unrelated to the argument, so there was literally 0 reason to bring it into the argument.

  • Cyberstalking is the use of the Internet or other electronic means to stalk or harass an individual, group, or organization. It may include false accusations so them writing a comment on one of my posts in a completely unrelated community, saying I wrote the post to be able to "harass women", defamation, slander and libel. It may also include monitoring, identity theft, threats, vandalism, solicitation for sex, doxing, or blackmail.

[–] velma@sh.itjust.works 3 points 1 day ago

Yeah man, recognizing usernames on Lemmy is akin to doxxing. You got me.

[–] velma@sh.itjust.works 2 points 1 day ago

For the record, I had upvoted that post you made earlier and recognized you from it. I didn’t have to stalk your post history. I knew what was in it already.

[–] svcg@lemmy.blahaj.zone 4 points 1 day ago

If one has an opinion on a subject, that means they’ve already researched the facts and derived their belief from logic.

Lol. Lmao, even.

[–] TheLeadenSea@sh.itjust.works 3 points 1 day ago (1 children)

idk, it's just the fact you have to say it implies it's not obviously true

Like "black men are men" sounds like "I wasn't thinking they weren't, but now I'm questioning it"

[–] velma@sh.itjust.works 9 points 1 day ago* (last edited 1 day ago) (1 children)

A lot of people are questioning, out loud, whether trans people even deserve to exist right now.

So yes, the message that trans women are women is an important one and might bring some comfort to someone as they're browsing.

[–] TheLeadenSea@sh.itjust.works 1 points 1 day ago (2 children)

But are they questioning it here? I thought this was supposed to be a safe space where trans women being women was just common knowledge

Idk maybe I'm being stupid, it came off the wrong way to me, but I'm sure it is helping people :3

[–] velma@sh.itjust.works 7 points 1 day ago

I enjoy positive messages in safe spaces. It's a nice affirmation that the people here in this community are welcoming of trans women. Not all women's groups are welcoming in that way.

I don't think you're being stupid! I think maybe you're being a little cynical or pessimistic, which I can understand with gestures at everything in the world rn

[–] unknownman@lemmy.zip 2 points 1 day ago (1 children)

You're absolutely right. There's 0 need to post this. It's stating the obvious, who's this meant for? It definitely feels like someone's beliefs crumbling so they have to keep telling themselves the thing because they don't truly believe it, they're starting to doubt it.

[–] velma@sh.itjust.works 6 points 1 day ago (1 children)

Have you read the rules for this community?

I’m a dude, but damn, this situation kinda vexes me.

Because 4 days ago you were a dude. And now you're here in a women's only group trying to police what we post about and how we make sure our fellow women feel welcome.
