And it's technically not damaging the camera. So hard to get prosecuted for vandalism.

And the flock guys will just simply remove it and you have spent money on making that fancy cover. You can straight up smash it with the same shovel/stick that it shows in the video instead of dressing it up.

I'm not from the US. But we have similar things where I'm from and most of them are destroyed, even though the penalty might be death.

Clean the lenses cover with acetone. You're doing a public service keeping that lenses clean and crisp.
Cameras are often built with replaceable lenses. If you’re going to do damage, make it count. A metal bat to the side, one good swing… that’s all you really need.

Not a radio engineer but I did grow up with someone who worked on radar systems in the military before becoming an electrician. If Im not sure what wires to lick I know who to ask...
Maybe a directionnal antenna could be interesting...

From what I understand there are sensors other than cameras that you need to worry about that will still be active even with the lens covered
why not cut down the pole or destroy the camera, it cost them more to put one back up, also take notice of axon cameras too. it magnifies the cost if you remove the camera, and they spend more to have a person come out and put one back up. a sleeve, paint bull can simply be removed.
as much as I like this idea, I assume it would also magnify the punishment if you get caught.
I have never once witnessed or seen anyone destroy a flock camera or its pole. And no prosecutor in the world could convince me that anyone would do such a thing.
I can't think of a crime that would apply to putting this sock over a Flock camera unless there was substantial evidence linking you to some crime that was committed immediately after you did it in the coverage area.
Obviously it's very easy to think of a crime that would apply to destroying the pole or camera.

Seems to me like this could be modified to mount a laser pointer to point directly into the lens without having to stand in front of the camera to aim it.
They do work better/faster at closer range.
