The issue isn't overpopulation, not at all, but that we have a bunch of countries with hyperconsumerist economy, a car in every household, high electricity usage, accessible red meat, air-conditioning etc.
White is about 10% of the population. It doesn't matter much that the 7 billion gone used less than them. 8 billion to 800 million. It feels like it can't help but reduce the world CO2 output significantly

I have 2% African ancestry, do I stay or do I go now? I have some level I don't remember if Asian ancestry, less than 5 percent. I also have higher than average neanderthal DNA. Does that part count as white? They're likely European Neanderthals... Go far enough back, obviously, and all humans are African descended.
