They even had the audacity to ask for "documentation" of my use of Tuta as if I'm here to justify my damn review for them.

They don't even tell me exactly why. I have no idea what I even wrote and they don't specify. It's just "automated". Aka they remove whatever the F they don't like and of course Tuta is a target.

Sent them an email from the very Tuta account they don't believe exists and told them what I think as well.

Does anyone here want to send this to tuta? I have no clue where they can be contacted. Support ain't it, I'm assuming.

I hope Italy fines them another 4 million.

Trustpilot? ๐Ÿ˜‚ Nothing really trustable there... Their rankings are proportional to how much they get paid.

Hence the "pilot" part - they attempt to steer people's trust to the highest bidder.

My first thought is, "is this a conspiracy from a competitor"

So I looked at the biggest competitor's ratings and... Probably not. (Imagine using AI to reply to complaints though.)

Tuta: https://www.trustpilot.com/review/tuta.com

Spot on.

I wonder if anyone ever managed to leave a negative review of Trustpilot on Trustpilot. That'd be hilarious.

Pulling reviews because you don't want them fucking spying on you and actually admitting that it's one of the possible reasons is peak endstage anti-consumerism. "Trust"pilot lmao.

They "pilot" people towards the highest bidder - it's right there in the name.

Just curious, what was your report about Tuta? I'm a paying customer, FYI.

[-] 87Six@lemmy.zip 6 points 3 days ago

No idea, they didn't mention it. I definitely gave it 5 stars though I've no complaints about it

The unusual pattern is that your review doesn't glaze a paying customer.

I remember leaving a review in an online store that the listing is fake because what you get is a different , much lower quality item. My review did not get approved. It's an absolute joke.
